We all know the story of him leaving us for a nice £50m, so we could get a great player and a West Ham loanee.
Since, he has had a horrid time of never scoring and being dropped for all the big games, so that Drogba could play; the same fate in both finals last year, which he openly said he was devastated about and was a horrific time of life.
This season, he continues to struggle and scores once in a blue moon, but plays. However last night, the ridiculous club that is the chavs, decided to play no one over him!!
RDM then gets sacked and seems like they will quickly buy a new replacement for him.

I wonder how he feels about leaving us suddenly that one day? I seriously think we could get him for £10m.

I'm one of the few that would want him back (at the right price of course), however I highly doubt it for a number of reasons:

    1) Age
    2) Value
    3) Wages
    4) Form

I don't want him back at any price.

If I put my feelings to one side and think logically about it then I still don't want him back as he is not a very good player anymore.

In that half season before he left us, he scored 9 league goals in 23 games.
Since, at the chavs, he has scored 11 league goals in 58 games.

    So, I completely disagree.

He wasn't 'dead' before he joined Chelsea.

He struggled playing in Hodgson's formation which left him isolated. As soon as Kenny came in, he scored 2 goals in 3 games which I don't believe is a coincidence.

His armband proved he was a red, Torres, Torres.

Nah in all seriousness, I don't want him back after the way he treated this club, and the fans of this club. If Rafa does go to Chelsea, I can see Torres hitting some kind of form.

What a stupid quote, i'd have him back tomorrow for the right price, him and suarez together would be better than what we have or plan to "buy" in Jan, oh borini's back!!!

    Heart says "Take him back..."
Head says "No thanks, your too slow in body and mind to work in Rodgers system!"

Plus, I think he may have had enough of English football and may want to go home, we all know the Chavs want Falcao and Torres + Cash may help prize Falcao away from Ath. Madrid.

    1) 28 years old.
    2) £10m - £15m at most surely?
    3) He is on huge wages at the chavs, but surely he has to take a cut wherever he may go
    4) Away from playing with 'big' names and egos, to where he was happy. With Suarez, he could be amazing.

£10m? I doubt it, it's not like Chelsea are desperate for money that they'd take any money when you could easily see someone like PSG paying much more. you wouldn't sell Carroll for £10m would you?

Carroll is young and English (inflates price); majority of us would want about £20m for him. Torres is seemingly going downhill and would want to leave should they buy the likes of Falcao/Cavani etc. £10m-£15m would be my guess for him.

Apart from the age/cost/wages thing (he wouldn't take that big a drop in wages for his "love" of the club he practically sprinted from)

He also screwed over our hierarchy. They had a plan & he fecked it up. Yes they got £50m for it but he still screwed with them. Nothing about the deal would be ok for FSG now. It definitely isn't part of their policy to take back the has been they successfully offloaded at a profit for him to be a loss maker for 5 years probably getting more unproductive every one of those years.

Forgive me but I don't see a Bellamy type renaissance in Torres.
