No proper match thread this week thanks to my woeful Laptop.

I imagine Gibson will be back in the frame after 60 minutes for the u21s. As we know Neville is injured, Anichebe and Hibbert we probably won't find out until the press conference on Friday whether they'll be ready, the same with Mirallas. Also Fellaini is injured, but I'm not too worries about that, at least it will stop Jags hoofing it (hopefully) if things aren't going our way.

    ----------------------Howard--------------------
    ---Coleman---Jagielka---Heitinga---Baines----
    ---------------Gibson------Osman---------------
    ------Naismith------Mirallas-------Pienaar------
    ---------------------Jelavic-----------------------

I think we really need Mirallas to be fit for this one.

if Gibson is out then at least we have Hitzlsperger who done well
If Hibbert is out at least we have Coleman
If Mirallas is out then we will have a trio of Gueye Naismith Pienaar behind Jelavic. Unless Barkley plays that is.

This would be a good win given who we play afterwards.

Does Mirallas have a chance to be fit In time? This ones a must win for me no disrespect to Reading but we should never have lost there and I feel we should be beating Norwich at home... Is Distain Injured ??

A clean sheet and I feel we will win but with the goals we are shipping of late who knows???

I think Mirallas is a possibility yeah, can't remember where I saw it though.

Distin played 90 minutes for the u21s the next day, was he not on the bench against Reading.

    Norwich fans,

Hope you don't mind this but our boards quiet as it is so thought it would be a decent idea to move the thread from the Everton board to here meaning that it will show up on both boards.

Don't know if you do proper match threads, so if that's the case then a mod can feel free to move this back to the Everton board when that match thread goes up.

Just thought it would be decent to get some banter going <ok>

    So... James Vaughan?

CanariesSoccer has a regular match day thread that no doubt he will post later in the week and maybe have this merged with it <ok>

I am not brave enough to call this one. You may have enough players unavailable to make a win a possibility for us, especially if our defence can hold firm once again but as it is at Goodison then the odds are in your favour. I would be delighted with a draw.

James Vaughan? - I liked what I saw of him, lots of promise and potential but made of glass as we know. Will be interesting to see how much game time he gets at Huddersfield and maybe, just maybe get a run of a few months without visiting the treatment bench again. I get the feeling though he will probably not come back to play for us in the first team and CH has his own ideas about what and who we need and unless they really shine (Holt, Hoolihan & Ruddy), I think most of Paul Lambert's signings will be on their way in the 18-24 months.

Pretty much how I see the result on Sat and in all honesty, anything more than 2 points for us from the next 2 games would be a bonus.

I think CH may keep R Martin as well - certainly in the short term, but I'd be VERY surprised if any other PL signings (or players he inherited) are still at CR!!! <ok>

Pilks? The Bennett brothers? Bradley Johnson? Johnny Howson? Can't see any of them going anywhere in a hurry unless we get offered silly money

Agreed. I love to debate but can't really see where JRFan is coming from on this one.

Everton guys, how have you got this across both boards? I thought cross-board threads had been banned?

Unbeaten for five. The law of averages has to catch up with us soon.I have us down for a draw at Goodison. If we manage it then I fancy us for a result at St Marys.

It isn't cross board Sam. They put it on here because their board is devoid of life, and wanted some Budgies to talk to <ok>

To all Norwich fans, when I got up today I had received a PM from Sogun, explaining what he had done and why, pretty much as above, I don't have a problem with this, if, however, any of you do, could you please PM me with your objections! I am really not expecting any complaints, and to the more parochial of you, play nicely! ;)

As I mentioned above, if it remains civil, merge it with Sam's fine creation perhaps?

Bennett R, Bennett E, Johnson, Tierney would stay probably - Howson, not so sure, specially if we get a good cash offer for him - with Butterfield out getting his fitness levels up it seems likely that he will be pushed ahead of maybe Howson and Fox when he returns - I think Foxy could also go if Lambert gets his cheque book out.

Morison - don't know - will he stay, won't he - jury is out. Jackson - we'll probably keep him as he offers a different option up front - is that all of them apart from those already out on loan (Vaughan, Ward, Ayala) none of whom will return I think.

Agree that the more recent signings would probably stay, especially both Bennetts. Personally, I'd like to see Jackson come on as a sub at times instead of Morison - he hasn't recaptured his form of early last season IMO.

There seems to be cordial relations between Norwich fans and quite a few of the other clubs. I would pick out, maybe ironically in view of their situation, both Newcastle and Sunderland supporters.
