How important is sexy football to you ?

Not talking champagne football ala Barcelona, but at least being fairly decent to the eye and creating a few more chances than the one or two a game we've been averaging up until the Fulham game...

I've always said that I don't care much about how it looks; that I'm happy as long as we're picking up good enough results, but unless we're really picking up good results I have to say I do care a bit when we're playing as dire as we've been this season with possibly the worst football possession- and attacking-wise since the 15p horror show that was 05/06.

Not craving 'sexy football' at all (just some urgency; some impetus to attack in a few more numbers so that we at least give ourselves a chance of creating a few chances in most games) but the way we've played so far this season has been so far below 'decent to the eye' it's been almost unreal.

Care or don't care by the football on display? (not taking into account that we'd pick up more points if we played more entertaing...)

 

I'd be happy to play more rugby than stoke and slightly less than the all blacks if we got about 65-70 points a season.

 

Results for the time being are all that matter. hopefully with a few wins confidence will return and then sexy football may ensue.

Its a nice to have not a necessity.

 

For this season I'd say points are more important than how we play to a certain extent.

 

My main bugbear has and always will be when I see lack of effort.
Said this before, I have cheered teams off after a tonking just for their efforts, as we and they, knew they weren't good enough for more.

Saying that, when we do have flair players I do like to see them showing their skills off.
I'm hoping for great things from Sess and AJ as they get more and more used to each other.

Not so much sexy but long ball is no no for me. Football to me as a fan is about entertainment. Rather watch league 1 played properly than PL top half played like Fat Sham or Pulis's long ball percentage ****e.

Different when you play though, then you just want to win.

 

The feeling of a goal going in and a win for me is first & foremost.

If we play **** and win 1-0, I walk out happy.

That simple.
