just seen sky sports and apparently they are all working together with Hughes to turn results around. are they f#cking daft or what? how will they ever see sense. As great owners for taking us over they are just as poor for taking us down. they and they only have the potential to change our fortunes yet do nothing. how do fans get their views across? it makes me sick that we are going back down so bloody easily. i bet Neil is pissing himself!!
Should imagine Colin is too busy sh1tting himself as Leeds plunge down the table and at the prospect of getting sacked twice in one year as new owners move in. Doubly incontinent then. Perhaps Diouf cleans up after him.
I think what bob is getting at is MH should of been sacked long before now, and by leaving it this long makes us look rather silly. They should of been a lot more ruthless, I've heard his gone but it shouldn't have come this far, he should of been given his marching orders after the west ham game imho
I reckon Amit wants to bring back Colin, and reckons we'd get him cheap, with Diouf thrown in for free, compensating for the outlay on Hughes pay-off. But TF loves cuddling Hughes too much to let him go, so we got a stand-off. I'm with Amit on this, but suspect we'll see TF cuddling Hughes all the way to the Championship.
Problem is they gave MH a chance to talk. We have an inexperienced board who lack ruthlessness and its played right up his alley. I guess TF has made his bed....and MH currently sleeps in it!
Surely the reported £5m compensation isn't a show stopper. The Sky report showed Beard and co at the training ground talking to the management team and the players in an effort to bring the group together, Beard says they owe this to the fans. Fernandes coming back and sacking Hughes now will make everyone look silly at QPR. I was disgusted with the players attitude on saturday, they need to be shown that working to rule has no place at our club.
I bet MH snake of an agent was there too.I still think its all about money.Rumours of 10 million to get rid.If it costs that much too move him on,our january budget is tits up,so therefore maybe they will take a chance with the same players?..Its just all so ****ing depressing now...
We're an absolute laughing stock of the Prem. It's as if the bosses have got together their best PR people to use their best Hollywood screenwriting machine to see if they could drum up some sort of support by putting out a media circus and getting sentiment from everybody but the fact is TF doesn't realize that we already put out a brilliant film last time in The 4 Year Plan, an amazingly poignant and inconceivable drama that was all TRUE, better than anything that anybody could have ever dreamed of or written by using any PR machine.
"I spend a lot of time at the training ground, it's no different to usual," Beard told Sky Sports News. ....... So we can expect another lacklustre performance and humiliation this weekend then ? We're working hard, we want to turn this around and make sure we do what the fans want, which is to sort ourselves out and get the season back on track." ..........Back on track ? REALLY ?
so by beard and the odd shareholder being at the training ground, does that mean we will turn it around? ah that's plan b. these guys are starting to get on my nerves now. its like we are being held to ransom. i find it infuriatingly ironic that we would have had just as much chance staying up with flavio and warnock and i don't say that lightly. to put it blunt, tony has made a major f#ck up!
Good call. As long as Diouf plays down the left and Mackie down the right (and they train on alternate days) I don't see any problems.
Yeah, actually, this is a good point. Sometimes the best thing for the bosses to do is to stay away and keep quiet. Nothing wrong with a silent treatment. Silence can be deadly.
Unfortunately we are paying customers and we can go elsewhere. The club belongs to them now and we don't have a say unless they want to listen to us. Also, if this is all true then why should they all have to be pitching in to do the managers job?
We seem to forget that these folks have bought the right to run the club. If they decide that pissing £5-10 million up the wall to sack Hughes and co is too much to swallow then who are we to argue? I don't agree with the economics myself but then I don't run the worlds's biggest steel corporation or a major airline either. If they have come to that conclusion I just hope they stick by their guns and let him see out the season (relegated natch) rather than pretend someone can turn it around after Christmas.
