Right, Hamilton got my vote, along with Vettel he was the class of the field in Austin, he should have won in Abu Dhabi where he was in a class of his own, think he's on form and he's none to shabby in the wet either, as he said in Austin, he wants it more because he knows unless there's a flock of pigs flying next year, he won't be on the top step of the podium for a while!

Button for me. Lewis and Vettle will take the front row and under damp conditions will tangle (after several passes and re passes) at Bico De Pato! Lewis will retire with a broken front suspension and Vettle will limp back to the pits with a rear puncture and damaged anti roll bar. Webber will lead with Massa, Button, then Alonso! Vettle will get out of the pits and switch tyres (wet to inter or Soft to hard) in attempt to pull himself back into it. The strategy fails initially but after a late surge in pace Vettle starts to haul himself towards the points.

Ferrai concerned leave Massa out to slow Webber through the pit stops (dropping him out of contention and allowing Alonso to jump him) which brings Button into play. In the latter stages, Button passes Webber with Alonso in 3rd, Kimi 4th, Massa 5th and at the chequered flag Vettle only manages to salavage 10th meaning Alonso wins the title by 1 point!

In that case would they not run qualifying on Sunday, in between FP3 and the race?

I remember last year when forecasts said there was about 85% chance of rain in the race and come sunday it was bone dry. Not getting my hopes up just yet.

Yeah, I'm fairly sure rain is forecasted every year for the race but only comes along about a quarter of the time.

Gonna be a game of strategy I think, cue the clipboards and panicked chatter.

What is the average Safety Car entrance into the race?

Don't know if its been noticed but in 2011 Pirelli brought the medium (prime) and soft (option) tyres.
This year they've gone with the hard and medium's. Will have to see how much difference it makes, with last year being a mostly 3 stop race.

A lot of violence is happening in Sao Paulo I'm hearing, more so than usual. Will the event still go ahead when something on the lines of worse than the London riots are going on around you, Jenson got close once and I think that was a normal day over there.

They promise they can protect this circus from things like this, yet I don't think these people making marked hits on each other recently told them that...

The words "for" "****'s" and "sake" spring to mind here, we've just had a load of (strategically) dull and frequently one-stop races...

Exactly, Pirelli's idea of keeping consistent with tires to not try and interfere with the championship battle may end up handing it on a plate to Red Bull! They're as useless as McLaren.

Even though Vettel will almost certainly win the title I still can't wait for Brazil. Should be some spectacle.

Now it would be interesting to see Seb behind Alonso, I'm very sure Seb would be very determined to get in front of him and cause merry hell behind!
