Agreed. Benfica are a good team, however i believe we were also poor tonight, every ball that went upfield was turned without much effort. Sammy needs to have a look at himself. He has played some good games but now he has gone back to playing the way he was before when he was being criticised.
Dissappointing performance... Deserved result . New Benefica would be a hard game, they are a good team. Brown should have bene hooked at half time and I would have subbed Watt for Hooper at about 70 mins and got Miku on for Ledley when chasing that last goal... Hooper wasn't fully fit.
All down to last game and at least there is guranteed european football after Xmas! Amazing progress for Lennon's team.
