Okay I'll bite. Harry Redknapp to come in, as he is a motivator and will only be given a contract until the end of the season with a view to carrying on. Players will feel a need to impress him with his calibre of taking Spurs to CL. Players to bring in. Whereas Hughes made several signings for players who were not playing regular first team football week in week out e.g. Nelsen, Granero, Park, Fabio, Bosingwa; we need to sign players who are playing and actually hitting some form. We need improving up front; Charlie Austin has banged in 20+ goals already this season, a reasonable target considering Burnley are the wealthiest team around. We need another central defender; Michael Dawson has just started playing a bit more, might be available at a cut down price and will be willing to join if Harry comes. Preferably another holding midfielder as we all know Diakite is a liability; typically English centre midfielder I'd try and get a loan signing e.g. Jack Rodwell from City. Those would be my primary targets and that would be a net spend of around 10 mil tops.

DT, I'm afraid it seems to late for those sentiments. More quietly than you, I have been of the 'Hughes must have enough time camp' untill the gutless and cowardly performance against a side fielding a player who was deemed not good enough for last year's team, let alone this one! Bring back Luke Young and DJ Campbell Get Ephrahim, Bosingwa, AJ, Green and Ferdinand out of the 25. Consider Bjealland from Twente. And the piece de resistance - Manu del Moral Fernandez - Not overly happy in Sevilla, this guy used to outscore Soldado. Now, I don't work in this business but could certainly do a job in looking at not so pricey alternatives. Oh and not forgetting the prime ingredience for improvement - A manager that cares, can instill a passion, is tactically proficient, e.g. to the point where he sees after 20 mins his side is being overun in midfield at home to West Ham and so pushes Diakite on much, much earlier.
