BREAKING NEWS The Football Association have issued the below statement following Sunday's game at Millwall. The Leeds United manager has until 4pm on 23 November 2012 to respond to the charge.
On a technicalty clause issued in 1947 no doubt. Lets just hope Mathew Harding and our Billy is there to give him the finger
Doc, your mind works as deviously as mine. I've been thinking about the situation, particularly in respect to this American investor who allegedly only wants to invest - not takover. I just wonder if it was indeed Bates that invited him to ER. I suspect it may have been GFH that invited him, and he might be GFH's next investor. Then again, WTF do I know?
WTF does anyone know WJ. Just keep turning up spending your money, dont forget your program if you want some insight to whats going on. Oh and why your there, pick yourself up some Macron clobber. Overpriced and bound to fall to pieces. Well if the shoe fits and all that....
Me fit into one of those shirts? That's a laff!! I do have a s/t which I make no apology for. I paid extra for it because I tried to resist the cheap renewal in the hope I & others would make a point. But it didn't happen, so I gave in and shelled out my £711. Crap though the football is, I need my fix. LUFC is my drug of choice (after food). TBH, if I had to go cold turkey, there's possibly a chance that I might never go back. I don't want to take that chance. I don't buy anything else, apart from some clobber/grub from the stalls outside the ground.
I'm temped to buy one of those tight fit tops as I am off aborad next year. Need the insentive to get back down the gym!
Thought I'd paste this link in before they add the 'deduct 15 points option' ... http://www.thefa.com/~/media/Files/TheFAPortal/governance-docs/analysis/standard-penalties.ashx Btw, apparently it wasn't his post match comments, but his behaviour at at full time (Phil Hay tweet).
Glad to see theres some passion left in him & Leeds hasnt sucked that all out of him. He really has been sold a wrong un considering he wanted retirement. Worse case- no money comes in and we are in a relegation scrap Best case- money comes late & Warnock can assemble a push on the play offs. Either way, not exactly what he signed up for.
Bucks, especially when he was on the verge of walking early summer. It was the new guys who changed his mind after he met them and saw the ambition. Funnily enough it looks like Bates has almost scuppered that as well now, so he may even bin it in January if he gets no cash. That would be fun listening to him have a real rant at the way Bates has shafted him and syphoned off his money, after selling his better players.
It's not even the style of play that's bored everyone. It's the apathetic attitude that's engulfing the club. The board don't care about on field success enough to do something about it, they just see it as a nice bonus if it happens on the cheap. This has infected the entire club with the same attitude.
I understand that GFH have ploughed 2m into Leeds, what I don't understand is this :- We are still turning over more revenue than most other Championship clubs with gate receipts, merchandise etc as we ARE a big club, so how can small clubs like errr Blackpool and Burnley run a profitable business with less turnover, AND with the size of our squad, how are we not posting a massive profit. please log in to view this image
