After following up on the observation made in the other post about Leeds lack of discipline. I came to discover that not only have we given away the least fouls this season in the league, we have the least yellow cards, Zero reds and have given away only one penalty.

Top Stuff Tigers, keep it up.

I presume the fair play thing that gets you into the qualifying rounds of the Europa League is only for top flight clubs?

We can hardly moan about TWS being a dirty bunch whilst wishing we had the sort of player back that would have fitted right in at Bellend Rd...I like us not being dirty thanks.

Sadly yes. Although I'm surprised Aluko hasn't won us more penalties though.

That's a bloody good record. The penalty we conceded was just your standard soft Leeds one that every team has to put up with.

I thought we were pretty soft like this last season too, but the same players always seemed to get booked for something stupid every game without even making a bad tackle. Rosenior and McKenna in particular. We've definitely got less soft cards this season.

I wouldn't want us to be a dirty team, but we would benefit from being a bit more aggressive at times.

Maybe that is what is keeping us from the top of the tree OLM. The lack of aggression. As I stated in another thread, City lack the Killer instinct to be successful. If we can find that killer instinct we will tear this league apart.

Bruce said he picked Oli to add some beef in midfield, unfortunately the world and his dog saw the fella is powderpuff, yes he sprays some nice balls around but Evans is a more of a battler.

Hope Meyler dishes out some bruises.

Cairney is coming back but he too isn't a "hard" player.

Do you think this might be handicapping him?

Heard the other day that the player with the most fouls in the division is Becchio of TWS.

And the player with the most fouls against him is Diouf of TWS.

    Anyone surprised?

I'm surprised they're counting training ground incidents.

Hull City now the only championship club Still to be awarded a penalty this season. FFS, Palace have had 10 already and scored 8 of them.
