Have the finest display of Movember facial hair I have seen. Peter Crouch looks like a 1970s porn baron - quality cause - comedy look!
A lorry driver asked me directions to the A63 the other day. I was half way through telling him and just asked out of politeness where he was heading. 'Stoke' came his reply. Out of respect to you Andy P I nutted the **** into unconsciousness. How ****ing dare he!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The place or the team? Never thought John Walters would be as good as he's been when we had him. He couldn't hit a barn door.
You did him a favour - either knocked.some.sense into him, or hospitalised him. Either way, you saved him from having to go to stoke. You're a hero, and deserve a medal in my eyes
Directions to stoke are easy, buy a Leeds united shirt, go to a game at Elland Road, get yourself killed. You'll arrive at the gates in no time
Don't know if you knew but when he was here, his time co-incided with his baby daughters being very seriously ill. Should imagine a barn door was the last thing on his mind. He does however speak very highly of the support he got from City and Hull in general at that time. Didn't make a big song and dance about it, just got on as best he could.
a medal in the eyes can be uncomfortable, so you might want to think again about that, especially if it has any sharp bits.
I did know all about his troubles off the field. My point was a general one, ie he looks a better player than we had. I wasn't slating him.
Walters as a young lad was a decent player on loan first time with us and then once we signed him he definitely couldn't hit the proverbial barn door. He then sunk as low as Chester but apparently had a cracking game for them in the Cup against Ipswich - they signed him up and the lad has never looked back. Good luck to him after his troubles with his then baby daughter during his time with us.
His poor daughter had a birth defect and her internal organs were all messed up, he actively sought a move a Wrexham(even though it was a backward career move), as that's where his wife was from and where her family still lived. It's hardly a surprise that his mind wasn't really focussed on his football, though despite him not scoring enough, I still liked watching him play. I felt the same was about Nicky Forster, he never scored enough but I still liked him as player.
