I understand that Nigel spent more on Aaron McLean, that Bruce spent on Nick Proschwitz and I don't think either are actually worth what they cost(dismiss the Proschwitz thing if you want, I really don't care what you believe). Whatever you believe about the fee for Proschwitz, he's the only player that's cost us a fee, Nigel bought Mclean £1.3m, Fryatt £1.2m, Hobbs £850k, Evans £500k, Chester £300k, Dudgeon £300k and Stewart £300k. There's no doubt there's some real bargains in there, but equally there's no doubt he spent way more than Bruce(I also know that our wage bill is less, though that's mainly due to shifting a couple of players who were on historically high wages). Nigel had to work on a shoestring when he came in, but by January he had almost £5m and he spent it, Barmby was given nothing at all to spend and Bruce has paid a fee for one player and I believe the fee to be half what you thing it is(or hope it is).
OLM your club and the club you signed him from both put out the fee publicly. It may not be true but until you come up with something which proves otherwise then we wont believe you
