I don't like or condone swearing, but he's a phucking idiot!
He's that bad I'd rather listen to a bunch of rabid dolphins doing the commentary!

For those of us thinking about who might be quick in the wet if it rains in Brazil I thought something that Brundle said in commentary yesterday was interesting. He said that the relative lack of grip in the circuit was making the race similar to when it rains as drivers were having to get heat into the tyres (like you do with inters and wets, which McLaren struggled with earlier in the season) and pointed out that drivers were using different lines to find where the grip was (He used Vettel and Hamilton's differing lines in the first sector as an example).

Could it not be that Austin might be a fairly close estimation of what the cars could be like in terms of performance if it rains in Brazil, and if so might the rain not be the perceived god send that Ferrari and Alonso need?

Happy to stand corrected, but remember the cars have changed a lot since July so Alonso is not guaranteed to have an advantage if it pours down in Interlagos.

Good point, but rain opens up the possibility of Vettel making a mistake or Red Bull giving him the wrong tyre, whereas a dry race will result in an easy championship win for Vettel unless he has reliability problems.

    Three times thirteen

Austin, 19 November - Thirteen is the number of the week: it’s the number of points that separate Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel in the Drivers’ classification, the number of podium finishes so far in 2012, but above all it is also the number of championships in which Scuderia Ferrari has arrived at the last race of the season, having either already won the title or titles, or been in a position to fight for them. It’s an achievement which, as President Montezemolo has stated is something that everyone at Ferrari can be proud of.

The team, along with Felipe, have taken off this morning on a charter flight which will arrive in Sao Paolo late in the night. The only ones to have headed back to Europe were Stefano Domenicali and Pat Fry, returning to Maranello to coordinate the work during these final key hours leading up to the twentieth race of the longest season in the history of Formula 1.

As for Fernando Alonso, he’s stopping off in New York, where tomorrow evening he will take part in a couple of promotional events for partners of the Scuderia. Among other things, the Ferrari man will take part in closing the day at the New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street, ringing the famous bell that ends the day at the world’s most famous trading floor. It’s an event organised by the Santander Group as part of a fund raising initiative for the American Red Cross, with proceeds going to victims of the recent Hurricane Sandy.

I honestly admire you for being optimistic over his chances and supporting your driver (this is his last race after all), but even if Schumi is a master driver in the wet he doesn't stand much of a chance with such a crap car.

I have to admit you are right, but the car was **** in Canada 2011 and he caught Vettel and had a shot for the lead then. So I am 50/50 atm.

Anything goes for this last one. If it rains its to hard to predict, as all of the best guys are pretty capable drivers in the wet. I have my driver I support, but anything can happen, and if Vettel takes it he will be a worthy champion.

Fair enough, Schumi is a strong driver and if it does rain a lot we could see a lottery where his experience comes into play and he makes up some ground. Still to hard to say, I honestly don't really want to make predictions here. I just want it to be a great race to cap off the season.

I wonder if Kimi will show up for Schuey's fair well, or does he still think taking a **** is a more worthwhile use of his time!?

Brundle, over to you to ask the question!
