That must be a fantastic way of life but a terrible standard of football, they have Michael Bridges playing for them!
As much as I love Emile, the fact he's scored 5 in 6 tells you all you need to know about the standard of the Aussie league.
Thank you OLM - however I was aware that Del Piero did not play in the same team - not least because you can only have one foreign 'marquee' player per team under their rules plus the fact the Bruno's team beat Del Piero's 3-1 the other week (my allusion was to the league rather than a team) .. and anyway, age does not matter when you are one of the undead, and I definitely saw Del Piero in the most recent Twighlight film ...
I'm aware of that rule, but the Newcastle Jets must be fiddling the system, how else could they get Emile Heskey and Michael Bridges on the same team?
.. because Michael Bridges is no longer 'marquee' .. he is more 'static caravan' (which I understand is a thriving industry in Hull?)
Sorry, I am married. I'm flattered in your interest though. I'm sure you'll find someone one day. Chin up
Hate to disillusion you APM but I am, instead, the father to three daughters - the first is no longer a teenager as of last week (now in her second University year at a city that your boys appear to love!) - the second will become a teenager in January whilst the third is only 7 - combined by an almost equal fascination by my missus, I have therefore had little choice but to become acquainted with the Twighlight and, indeed, Hunger Games sagas ... personally I am looking forward to the screening of The Hobbit at the end of the month when I'm hoping to put 'names to faces' of the many friends I now have on the Hull boards - who I believe will be accompanying Bilbo on his quest ..
I don't even know what the Hunger Games is? Thankfully my sons are into Spiderman etc and the wife watched one of the Twilight films and said it was gash, so I have not been subjected to them. Looking forward to seeing the Hobbit too. I wonder who you think looks like Gollum?
My son is only into watching live football and repeats of Fawlty Towers, Porridge and Only Fools And Horses, so it looks as if I get off lightly compared to some. My daughter tries to force me to watch X-Factor with her when she's home, but as she lives in Manchester and works for Man City every other weekend, it's not very often(I've managed to avoid watching all of it this time, with the exception of being forced to watch an online clip of Lucy Spraggan last time she was home).
Different mothers Barwell .. the first with my ex - the younger 2 with my current ... although your alliusion to prison life is pretty close!
Confession time - my eldest kept nagging me to read the Twighlight books (and then The Hunger Games) - we are both avid readers (indeed she is doing English at Leeds Uni) but I kept managing to find excuses not to - which she then turned on me in terms of my always having encouraged her to 'keep an open mind'. Anyway the first Twighlight film came on the telly and I could not find anything that I could make a compelling case for watchinbg instead so ended up watching it - and have to admit I did enjoy it - also watched the others after my 12 year old wanted the box set for Xmas last year - even read the books which are better than the films. My eldest next got me onto The Hunger Games with simiilar results, although there has only been one film to date - the books are very well written IMHO, superior to The Twighlight saga ... my youngest is currently reading Ratburger by David Walliams having just finished reading his Mr Stink - whilst she too is applying pressure I've had to draw the line at reading those!
