I don't think anybody expects us to come away with anything from Old Trafford apart from Cesar with a sore back from bending down to pick the ball out of his net so often but when will the change, if at all, take place. I want to beat Utd, and then go on to beat the likes of Villa, Wigan, Foolham etc so that by New Year we have a cushion of 20-25 points to work from for the second half of the season. As much as I want it I doubt it will come true. So off with the wishing hat and on with the realist hat. Should results continue to be poor after which game can you see the patience of the owners running out and Sparky being given the heave-ho? The longer into the open transfer window we go the less likely we are going to get a decent replacement. At least if somebody new takes over soon they have a chance to stamp their authority on the team and bring in one or two more players where needed. My money is on the Fulham game. Lose that against our closest rivals with all the baggage involved (Ex-manager, Zamora etc) and I can see TF giving up on the nice-guy act and showing Hughes the door.
I really can't see him being here at the weekend TBH, the last time Tony tweeted someting alone the lines of yesterdays tweet Warnock got the bullet add that in to it also being the day that the fans turned against all Tony has built up I think he will be on his way by the weekend, just need to get someone in before we do or we could end up with a Wolves type situation and no manager at all.
I don't think any new manager will want to take charge for the manure game then with Sunderland so soon after won't be till after then. Hughes may be gone by then though we can only hope. New man in for Villa then up the revolution !!
