I didnt have an atari but my cousin did. I guess I just dont remember them all since I cant remember the NES having real players. It has been probably close to 20 years since I have played any NES games.
If you're going on Seasons mode be Celtic as they are class, Hooper and Stokes up top get the goals and the midfield is class aswell, if you are doing a Career Mode with City it might be worth buying the Financial Takeover unlockable as you get 40M transfer budget

Have you all noticed with chester out injured they have adjusted our online squad. Now you are forced to play mcshane. It is a comedy right now of the opposition just going right by him and scoring.
Just smashed Barcelona online first time that happened, flipping ****er disconnected after the final whistle so couldn't see the highlights- the flat back five still working wonders against the lobbers- so long as you keep your concentration they can't get through you. In fact I think thats the key to the online game just keeping your concentration and cool, its a bit like online poker once you lose your head you might aswell pack the game in
Not too bad in all fairness, but I like a level of realism. Obviously I stretch it and aim to get City winning the PL in say, 10-12 years, but I get so bored if I'm beating the likes of Man Utd 4-0 at Old Trafford. I play on legendary and finished 16th in the PL in my second season on fifa 12. That's the sort of believability I like. Hello Mr Woods...

I haven't had this problem myself, but I heard that it can be fixed by changing the ball you play with in settings.
1981 it would appear lol As someone said, it was only a name and face to put on the front to sell it. The game play and graphics were awful.........a triangle of 3 dots for outfield players and a dot for a goalkeeper. Apologies for dragging up this old thread but am having quite a bit of success playing Meyler up front since he showed up in the updates for us- I wonder if Bruce has him in mind for the kind of role that Proschwitz was signed for and looks like he won't be playing or whether he is just midfield cover? Brady at left-back pretty useful too. Before anybody jumps down my throat I know FIFA is only a game and don't base my opinions on players on their FIFA credentials
Question... how on Earth did you come to the situation of sticking him up front when you have Simpson, Fryatt, Prossy and McLean? Oh, and a point I've discovered since this thread was buried - the player ratings really, really don't matter if you give enough game time. This year, ratings jump up like crazy. I'm in my third season, for example, and Simpson is 76, Quinn 75, Chester 78, Hobbs 76, Aluko 82, etc.
Students like me, unfortunately. Our broadband server is communal over thousands of students, so anything taking up lots of data gets cut off by administrators. So, you get to about the 30th minute of a game before being shut down. (Edit) Equally, I've just been interrupted in the middle of an episode of Misfits on 4oD. It's starting to take the piss if I'm honest.
Go into your settings and change the football you play with, it used to happen to me all the time. I once played a game vs Chesterfield and managed to win 2-1 but it was so difficult i wouldn't recommend it haha. Edit: Somebody already mentioned it, sorry!
