This season it is all Suarez. Barca gear their play around Messi, he scores the goals, Real with CR, he scores the goals, now you lot do the same with RvP. Don't see the problem with it?

Hes scored 10 of Liverpools 17 goals. Roughly 60% of their goals.

United have 29 goals and RVP has scored 8. Roughly 35%.

Both have played 12 games but Suarez has taken twice as many shots to get 2 more goals. This goes to show how he is almost always the player on the end of your attacks where as RvP is just one option.

Messi has 7 more goals in less shots at goal.

RVP has 2 less goals in less than half the shots at goal.

Hernandez has 4 goals from just 12 shots.

David Villa has 5 goals from just 8 shots on goal.

Ronaldo has 12 goals from 85 shots.

Goal scoring wise Suarez and Ronaldo are on a similar level this season. Neither are out and out strikers in their natural position but are the focal point for their clubs. The others bar Messi are out and out strikers. You can see the difference in how clinical they are compared to the converted wide players.

You skipped the other two I mentioned. I see the stats and understand that, but what I am saying is that your team doesn't try to get RvP the goals and get him into the right situations? I think so, but you also have more quality in the attacking third and better width than we do so it is natural for it to be spread a bit more.

how can we not like when our only goal scorer is scoring goals

Your talking about chance conversion then. Fair enough, but we all know Suarez can sometimes need many oppurtunities to score, but he does well to create those oppurtunities whether it is by himself or others.

Also if you go by those conversion stats then S. Fletcher is better than Suarez right? No chance. He is good but no chance is he better than Suarez.

Im not having a dig bluff. Just comparing. I added more players in my second post as well.

Suarez is doing well. That cannot be denied. Yes its partly down to him being your only real option which is bad for Liverpool as unless you are Ronaldo or Messi its likely you will go through a lean patch though that will have less of an impact should you sign a striker in January.

Hernandez and Villa have the best strike rates around though I will now go check two I forgot about.

It's a little known fact but Bazray chose his username as it sounds a bit like Wazza. True story.

Falcao has 10 goals in 41 shots
Ibra has 10 goals in 42 shots.

So Hernandez and Villa remain the 2 deadliest strikers in football going of chance conversion. Villa number one.

Messi comes in just ahead of Falcao and Ibra who are slightly ahead of van Persie. Suarez comes in ahead of Ronaldo who takes the most shots to get the goal. However Ronaldo is famed for shooting from anywhere.

I have not included Rooney as hes been playing as a midfielder. If anyone cares its 2 in 27 shots. The worst of the lot though nobody has created more goals than him.

Utd fans never allow injuries as an excuse for us.<laugh>

He's played 8 league games and scored a hefty 2 goals.

2 in 27 shots. The worst of all the top strikers but as stated, hes a midfielder this season.

I left Rooney out because the others are the our and out goalscorers for their team bar Ronaldo who plays off the left wing ( hes as much a striker as anyone though really ).

Benzema I think (should) have a pretty decent conversion rate. Not sure what happened to Higuain..... maybe another gift to us from Mourinho? <ok>
