I thought he was venting at DRS... Not 100% sure though. Seems a bit daft after using it to come from dead last though... But I can see his frustration. I'm not a particular DRS fan.
Surprising that Alonso had such a fast last lap, considering that he appeared to slow down and pull over to the pit wall. Massa kept to the racing line and looked as though he was going for it.
Hamilton won with the 4th fastest car The top 5 were quite close together in fastest lap times but then it drops off drastically.
He couldn't just vanish... it's just one of those things that has always been part of the sport. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it hinders.
Let's get back on track. This was a great race from all perspectives. At least, all perspectives other than Vettelots (or even a hard pressed Alonsolots?). The inaugural 'Race of the Americas' has proven its place on the calendar and silenced (at least most of) its critics. Hamilton's win was only part of the story in a race full of action. Its result also takes the title fight down to the wire in Sao Paulo â although the most likely victor is surely not a difficult prediction?
After calming down and sobering up before I made my self look like a bigger pratt this was a good gp, yeah maybe felt hard done by on the traffic but Narain wasn't the only back marker that got in the way down their for Seb. But those are the breaks you get, maybe Seb felt he would of won this race if nobody got in the way, ok maybe he might of they were pretty even on car performance and skill that day that the biggest gap they ever had was under 3 seconds I think, it was really tight and both drove pretty flawless all week. Was only fair for Lewis to be honest, should of won Singapore and Abu Dhabi and Lewis was owed some "luck" for once in his favour. Lewis is driver of the year, not Alonso since Lewis has been pretty much flawless on his own shoulders bar the start of Australia and I hope McLaren suffer for letting him go because they will!
Vettel all but won the WDC at the weekend. Barring a DNF, it's his now. 3IAR for such a young guy. I think he'll eventually go and eclipse Schumi's 7 WDC titles.
Fair play Silver for taking it on the chin, cannot be easy supporting a driver at this stage in the championship and to stay rational at the same time. In the grand scheme of things he still is in a very good position and so long as it does not rain in Brazil I think he should have enough to win the championship. Kind of reminds me of 2008 all over again, which was torture for almost all Hamilton fans until the final corner so good luck keeping calm this weekend!
You might think I'm crazy but I welcome the rain! Alternators would not last here, gearboxes etc and top speed making RB suffer. At least in the rain its a lot cooler, RBR and Ferrari would be on equal ground as they're both quick in the wet and top speed won't help Ferrari here if it rains. I do expect Lewis to play another role in deciding the WDC, hopefully in Sebs favour!
True but immense rain on Sunday means no race Seb would win by default, so that's another reason why I welcome the rain, I hope it chucks it down like rainforest all day!

Ron Dennis, not bitter much? Sounds like he's been hanging around Whitless too much of late... he spoke to Sky after the race and without quoting him word for word, when asked about Lewis' performance he said it was a "good drive..." said a few more words, nothing special.. when asked to comment on Jenson's race, his drive was "Great... yada yada..." and went on for a while gushing more praice... you'd have thought it was the other way round and Jenson won the race!
Ferrari International Assistance would never allow that, and to be honest, vast majority of fans worldwide would be up in arms if this was to happen.. Seriously, would you like to see Seb win it by default?
Tell that to the Scuderia with regards to legal gearbox changing the F1 crowd went up in arms and Ferrari and their fans didn't give a damn as those are the rules. Rules are rules....if its unsafe and the time expires without half distance done nobody scores points. I can't control the weather and Red bull last time I checked can't either. If it rains and they delay the start too long it will get too dark anyway to race and the Sun will be set by 19:00 over there (5 hours of sunlight during GP) maybe 30-45 less than that considering the clouds making it darker + rain. Thunder and lightning for Saturday and intense rain on Sunday, they might even have to qualify on Sunday if the weather permits it earlier.
I still can't see them cancelling the race even if Poseidon and Neptune throw everything they've got at Brazil, it's the most important race since Abu Dhabi 2010.
