Hiya mate, Here is my input, much more positive after today, of course! 1. What are your opinions on the start Sunderland have made to the season? Flat, confusing, disappointing. A little bit bewildered by the defensive nature, but we're still in touch with the game in hand, and improving rapidly by the week! 2. What are your opinions on the start WBA have made to the season? Top class. Clarke has managed to keep the attractive style & tighten at the back, and in James Morrison you have one of my favourite players in the division. Slight over achievment, but only slight in my opinion. Top 10 beckons. 3. You've made a slow start to the season, is Martin O'Neill the right man to take Sunderland forward? On the fence. I do think he'd get it right in time, whether we have that time after the investment and with the new TV deal kicking in I don't know. Last 2 games have restored a lot of my faith, and I do love the mans passion for the club. 4. What are your opinions on WBA as a football club alongside it's supporters? Well run & likeable, been in the away end at the Hawthorns for the 0-3 couple years back, and although cover was blown got no **** at all, although we got ripped to bits due to the performance! Always a good atmosphere, and seem to genuinely give a **** about their club. I like that. 5. What are you expecting from Sunderland from the remainder of the season? Steady improvement & a few champagne moments, a decent FA Cup run and a finish between 8-12 will do me. 6. Where do you reckon WBA will finish and do we have a chance of Europe? Similar to ourselves, anywhere between 8-12, I think Europe will be just out of reach, but a great season of obvious & rapid improvement. 7. What players in your team should we look out for, and who in our team do you reckon will give you the most problems? Adam Jihnson is bedding in and looks like he fancies it, Sessegnon is a wonderful player who can hurt anyone on his day, and Fletch goal today will have his tail back up. Danny Rose at LB & Mignolet in goal are in top 4 form so far. 8. January is looming, is there any particular position which needs strengthening? CM, I'd go for the aforementioned Morrison, he'd be a perfect fit. We maybe need another striker, but then Whickham is blasting them in for reserves and England U21's. I'd like an extra RB as well, but that's not essential. 9. What side is Martin O'Neill likely to choose on Saturday? Same as always... See today. Possibly McLean could start at home, but little will change. 4-5-1, hit on the break. Yep, we even do that at home... 10. And finally, score predictions. I fancy us. It will be a tough game, and I expect we'll need 2 to win, I'm going for 2-1 the lads. It should be a good game as WBA will come at us, and then we can exploit a lack of pace at the back (hopefully)
1. What are your opinions on the start Sunderland have made to the season? Expected better but there has been an imbalance in the ratio of home/away games 2. What are your opinions on the start WBA have made to the season? Excellent. Must have exceeded 99% of WBA fans expectations. 3. You've made a slow start to the season, is Martin O'Neill the right man to take Sunderland forward? Yes 4. What are your opinions on WBA as a football club alongside it's supporters? Appears to be ran well with passionate supporters. Similar to SAFC. 5. What are you expecting from Sunderland from the remainder of the season? Gradual improvement, top 10 finish minimum and a decent FA cup run. 6. Where do you reckon WBA will finish and do we have a chance of Europe? Top 10 but not sure about the strength of your squad regarding European qualification. 7. What players in your team should we look out for, and who in our team do you reckon will give you the most problems? Sess & AJ, both getting fitter and better. Odemwingie (apologies if spelling wrong) 8. January is looming, is there any particular position which needs strengthening? CM deffo and if Wickham & Saha are not to be given a chance another forward. 9. What side is Martin O'Neill likely to choose on Saturday? Possibly the same starting 11 with the exception of Gardner taking Colbacks place. 10. And finally, score predictions. 3-2 to SAFC. Think we will be pumped up for this and today's win may add another couple of thousand on the gate. Thanks And here's to an entertaining game and hopefully I have much better luck here!
Cant be arsed to read you post but I do think we are on our way now. We will beat you. No probs. 2 or 3 nil. Call it alcoholic inducement if you like, but I am convinced
Hello nice to hear from you mate. 1. What are your opinions on the start Sunderland have made to the season? Dour, negative, boring, sitting far too deep. 2. What are your opinions on the start WBA have made to the season? Not seen you much but looking at the league table I guess you're all happy? 3. You've made a slow start to the season, is Martin O'Neill the right man to take Sunderland forward? Jury's still out for me, too many negative tactics. We don't get men in the box, hence we score very few. 4. What are your opinions on WBA as a football club alongside it's supporters? Nowt at all against club or fans, although I have a good mate who is a Wolf! 5. What are you expecting from Sunderland from the remainder of the season? Top 10 max. 6. Where do you reckon WBA will finish and do we have a chance of Europe? If you can keep your form going, then I see no reason why not, ifs & buts on that one. 7. What players in your team should we look out for, and who in our team do you reckon will give you the most problems? Depends on how they feel on the day mate, Sess can be class, has been pish all season apart from his wanger today & Johnson is improving & Fletch of course. From your lot Peter the Russian always looks a danger. 8. January is looming, is there any particular position which needs strengthening? CB, LB, LW, CF, oh mate, I could go on & on, lol. 9. What side is Martin O'Neill likely to choose on Saturday? Who knows? Most likely 4-5-1 & we'll sit back on our own 18 yd line & lob a long ball or two in the hope it gets on someones toes. 10. And finally, score predictions. 1-1.
Get your months wages on a draw marra, it's buying money. Could have had 11/4 today & had it not been for the sending off, was looking likely.
SAFC have made dodgy start and WBA have made an exellent start, and have some good players, and MON is starting to get us there. You don't seem to spend much but get the team to win balls faster than us, and have a few goalscorers. Your home record is exellent and you could finish 6th and us about 10th. We need 2 strikers, i would like Cisse back from QPR in January, Ba from Newcastle !, or Bent from Villa. 2 midfielders also.
