I actually think Cattermole was harshly booked to be fair. Yeah things went for you today, but fair play for taking advantage of the situation. I thought Johnson was key to your second half performance, just hugged the left touchline and it stretched the pitch/game and gave you a very good outlet.

Cattermole did little wrong today and I'm not convinced it was a booking. O'Shea however :bandit:

Catts had a good game. he needs to build on that and not go down the other road.

We deffo need another winger with pace and skill, think we should move Rosey on to the wing And Adam to the other with Colback as l/b By the way Jack had stomach trouble right up to the game so i heard no wonder he wasn't at his very best.

O'shea was fulhams most dangerous player today! Every time he went near the ball I thought Fulham had a chance! Haha. To be fair he is normally much better than that.

For me I would start Vaughan or Gardner before Colback.

Choice of the three Gardner hands down for me.
He is much stronger and isn't afraid to put himself about.

Jacks best position is L/B IMV We could have a much better team, with more strength with a few subtle little changes.

    This.
Get back to the heady days of Reidy type football. 2 pacy wingers knocking the ball in to a little & large attack force.
Class ball from AJ for Fletch's goal mind. Great 1st touch from Fletch as well to control it.

Oshea and Larrson were playing for Fulham today so they had the man advantage. They were woeful. Centre back and centre midfielder needed in January.

Felt for Bardsley today, he's not fit and Larrson just didn't/couldnt track his man and he's costing us goals with it now

Most of the time you make your own luck. If Fulham had been walking the game then Brade probably wouldn't have made such a reckless challenge. 10 men can be harder to break down than 11 but credit to Fulham for still going for it, made for a much more entertaining game.

You play what is in front of you and today Sunderland had a cutting edge they haven't had in a long time. For the record I thought last week was a very good performance as well (possibly better than today). I'm still waiting for a single game where Newcastle play well...

Catts was great and booking was a joke!

Seb isn't the type to hug the line, so we do need another quick winger, preferably with a right foot and I've been saying this for ages now but Matt Phillips would be perfect.

McClean also looked better when he came on today, wasn't as predictable as he normally is

At the end of the day you make your own luck. You took advantage of your luck by scoring goals. Sessegnon's goal was due to quality, no luck involved.

We have got the points we have now because we've been pretty clinical in most of our matches.

If you have shots, you score goals. You should apply this to your upcoming games instead of what you've been doing all season and not shooting at all.

Just smash it on target it and try and make something happen.

It's going to be a weird season I think. I've literally got no idea who's gonna finish where, outside the top 3.
