Spot-on St Brendy - Swansea had a so-so day against us and QPR are in a terrible state and suddenly some fans think our back-four is top class... just look at the conceded tally for a reality check. Goalkeeper situation is unclear and a serious concern - IMO we need to get SKD back in between the posts.
SKD is to slow at diving for the ball these days, don't get me wrong he is a great shot stopper. So if any one was going to replace Gazza it would be Boruc.
WE just have to trust Nigel to make the right decision re a keeper. Difficult to drop Gazza after two gamesd unbeaten IMO. He will learn fast ande we have no evidence that Boruc is back to anywhere near his best!
Self-belief is a huge factor. After a sprightly start to the season, we began to lose and fans and team began to doubt. Even Nigel admitted to being depressed for half an hour We have now had a couple of results with a fine footballing display last Saturday...they will take on Newcastle believing they can win...surely better than having their confidence rock bottom.
