Hardly the most exciting Super Sunday game ever, but a rather important one for Sunderland. Yesterday was not a good day for them. I'm sure they wouldn't have expected Norwich or Reading to win, and I'm sure they'd have liked a draw between us and QPR. Defeat for them today - and especially if they again fail to find the scoresheet - and I would be starting to worry as a Sunderland fan. And it much not then be too much longer until the media and the bookies start turning their attentions towards O'Neill.
And my dream team takes a pounding with the early departures of Katchathingy and Hangeland. That'll teach me to keep Clyne on the bench
Silver linings and all that,...but I'd rather he had not been sent off (Unless Fulham win anyway, or a draw would be okay). The more teams struggling the better. That's HT now 0-0.
To be honest I think Fulham could have their other CB sent off and Sunderland would still struggle to score!
There we go, I've evened it up - they are bound to win now I've said it. So it will probably be 4-3 to Fulham!
I don't know who to blame more, you, Hangeland or the ref. Fulham have started the half incredibly open considering they are a man down.
