Thatâs right, losers! We were on top from the first minute to the last. When Arsenal scored their first goal we were on top then. When they scored their second goal we were on top. When they scored their third and fourth we were just in cruise control, leaning back, one hand on the wheel smiling at the honeys. When Oxlade came on and kept making Vertonghen fall on his arse? We planned that. That was all part of it. Yeah suck it up, Arsenal! You got owned!! http://themarblehalls.com/2012/11/1...hree-points-as-spurs-annihilate-us-right-avb/
AVB is just embarrassing himself and the spuds further with comments like that. I loved Wenger's response to that though: please log in to view this image
Remember, they were on top from the first minute to the last though and they were 'unbelievable' I'd love to see what happens when they have a bad day
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/1230985?&cc=5739 Some good news for Spurs. The greatest striker the world has ever seen, would consider going to Spurs. Something to cheer them up after getting destroyed in another NLD.
The pressure is on AVB. This is how he will look by the end of the season (if he lasts) please log in to view this image
He's reckons he one of the best strikers there is and Spurs reckon they have caught up with Arsenal, so yeah why not ?
FFS this bloke must be on drugs, does he really think players will want to join a club because gazza played for then 20 years ago, or they won the cup winners cup the the 60s, comedy gold.
Spuds are are a team who sit below the threshold for being considered a big club. They've had some limited success over the years, but when you look at the fact that they've not won anything of any significance for over twenty years and they haven't won the league for over FIFTY years, then it puts it into perspective why top players don't want to play for them. The fact that we haven'e been at our best over the last couple of seasons and the Spuds are claiming that they have improved, yet we still banged TEN goals past them in the last two games, says it all. Gazza is old news, Dembele is average, Lloris wants to leave and Adebayor is a classic example of player who's career has gone down the chute since they left Arsenal
