I haven't done anything but point out facts. Facts which Mr Peskie may find uncomfortable, but facts nontheless.

I agree Piskie with most of what you are saying about this match and Spurs in general in terms of our weaknesses.

However, in the same way that you did have enough to beat us, even with eleven, WE had enough to beat you with eleven.

In the same way that you looked purposeful going forward, as you often do, you also looked vulnerable at the back, as you often do.

Unfortunately we'll never know what the outcome of the match would have been without the red.

It would have definitely been more enjoyable from a neutrals perspective and a more classic NLD.

If Ade had stayed on and you went on to win, we would be having a similar debate anyway. Only difference being that Arsenal fans would be crying over the 1 man handicap resulting from having Ramsey on the pitch :(

No insults please, everyone. I'm not going to go through the entire thread and sort them out, but they stop here.

As for Piskie's insistence that he hasn't had to moderate his own board for months, that probably has a lot to do with banning everyone that disagreed with him.
There are more Arsenal fans banned from their than the rest of the forum combined.
The accusations of hypocrisy are well founded, in my opinion.

    Gutted with yesterday naturally.

AVB managed to slightly please me by going 4-4-2, Lloris started which made me happy but Ade unfortunately f*cked it up for us and yes, it was a definite red and I'm glad he kept Dempsey on the bench so thumbs up from me there.
Though he did annoy me with the defensive selections. I wasn't happy at sticking Naughton LB to deal with Walcott. A Right footed full back against the blistering pace of Theo was suicidal for me, I can appreciate Naughton is faster than Vertonghen but Vertonghen's positional sense and his better defending ability would've won the vote to play LB in my opinion. With Caulker being out (F*CK YOU ENGLAND DUTY! F*CK YOU! YOU ALWAYS INJURE OUR F*CKING PLAYERS!!!) the natural decision would have been to simply replace him with Dawson I feel. We all know that Gallas and Vertonghen are not the strongest in the air and so to not have an aerially strong CB on the pitch in either Kaboul/ Caulker/ Dawson was again, suicidal. I know Ade's sending off completely f*cked things up but even prior to that, I wasn't overly confident in that defence.

Overall, I think our best players were Lloris, Sandro and Carroll. Lloris, despite conceding 5 kept out a few good shots and dealt with everthing that he possibly could quite well, I don't think he/ Brad/ Carlo/ Gomes could've saved any of the goals from Arsenal in fairness (perhaps Gomes could've saved Mertesacker's header if I was to be really picky, Gomes has always been one to produce a wonder save and one like that probably would have been in his locker), our defence and Ade let him down. Hopefully he doesn't get dropped again as that will only dent his confidence even more than what the result has probably done. Carroll came on and to me was the best outfield player alongside Sandro, neat link up play and where I wasn't sure before, I am certainly am now so say that he is ready to start in the Prem while Dembele is out. Not that I'm comparing him to Luka in any way just yet but despite his slight frame and small stature, like Luka, he doesn't let it get the best of him and uses his agility and quick decision making skills to ensure he's not in a position to be muscled off the ball. Very excited about this lad now, he's come on leaps and bounds since his Europa debut last season and good on him and looked far better than Huddlestone.

Devastated about the result but being down to 10 men after 15 minutes was never going to be easy. Just a shame it had to be against them. One thing I'd like to boast about, is that the pub me and my mates were in yesterday, even at 5-2 down we were still singing far louder than any of the Arsenal fans there (50-50 pub) and so once again fills me confidence to say we really do have a fantastic bunch of fans (most of the time! :D).

If only you had a clue as to what actually happened on the Arsenal board. I haven't banned anybody since HIAG <ok>
The rest of your post is therefore meaningless I'm afraid PNP.

Numerous Arsenal fans have been banned since HIAG, whether you want to accept responsibility for it or not.

Agreed <ok> Nobody really knows what would have happened with eleven v eleven. Certainly you were looking dangerous for the first twenty minutes. But as was the same in the NLD last time and given your propensity to throw away a lead, I don't think you would have kept it up for the full ninety. Also given that you have been shipping late goals and we have been scoring some late ones, I think we would have been confident of beating you still. All speculative I know, but at least I'm not dressing it up as 'fact' like some seem to be.

agreed SOS. Thought Lloris did all he possibly could. such a shame that he conceded 5 in only his second prem game, but none of it his fault.

Sandro was immense again, but he just can't do everything unfortunately!

again, with carroll, very promising even though he only had 15 mins or so. There's something about him that's very intelligent. He seems to wander into these little pockets of space to try and find somewhere new to start an attack from. its refreshing to see and something i feel the midfield has missed not having dembele. I too, would like to see him feature as often as possible as I also think he's ready. <ok>

    Cheers Roo <ok>

I didn't want to sound too deluded by trying to compare little Tom to Luka but I definitely see comparisons. I don't expect him to reach a similar level to Luka by any means, I reckon it'll be a good few years before we see someone of similar ability to Luka but it's nice to know that we do actually have someone in our ranks, that, given a bit of time could develop into a fantastic player.

Behave, one of your mods pretty much openly admitted that he was going to delete any post that he did not agree with, it's funny how you keep having a go at arsenal mods for deleting post and banning people when you lot are just as bad.

He played for England. It seems to have that affect on a lot of our players, for some reason.
