Nothing like jamming to this at the end of the title fight.

He has improved over the last few races. Put in a very good drive at Abu Dhabi which was overlooked by the fanfair surrounding Herr Finger's drive.

Problem is Bottas has shown to be much quicker than him in FP1's, so if he comes with money I imagine Williams would almost certainly have him alongside Maldonado.

Time difference. <grr> Right now we should be watching them coasting round behind the safety car after a first corner pile up.

He's been pretty awful really, Maldonado's dominated him pace wise and I think the car's quicker than Maldonado makes it look. He'd be under pressure at the best of times but with a driver of Bottas's talent in reserve he should have no chance of keeping his seat. It's only sponsorship that's giving Williams anything to think about.

Ferrari aren't hopeless on primes - they looked good in Q1 and Friday practice. Race pace looks quite good actually:

As for the scrubbed tyres, Sauber tried the same thing and struggled like Ferrari did... Yet Ferrari say the tyres weren't the problem: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/104339

Just a note on the start, Hamilton thinks the dirty side will be a huge disadvantage and wants it to be cleaned. Button thinks it's not a big disadvantage:

This might be because the lack of grip is due to oil, not dust:
http://www.onestopstrategy.com/dail...l, not dust to blame for slippery Austin.html

If they are doing that it is not for championship reasons. Doesn't make any sense to drop Massa back when he could potentially overtake the traffic ahead and be dropped behind Alonso only at the very end.

Would laugh if Alonso had a gearbox failure in the race and Massa finished well. Forza Schumi and Kimi and Vettel anyway, sack everybody else.

Lol ****ing pathetic by Ferrari! Alonso does **** in qualifying and they still screw Massa over!

Tainted title by the Ferrari if he somehow wins now. I have never ever seen that before, what a ****ing joke! Hope Grosjean or Maldonado takes him out now cheating scum!

It puts him on the clean side of the grid, it makes plenty of sense. It's not like Massa has a chance of beating Vettel.

Since 1996, Ferrari have pretty much ensured there was a no.1 and a no.2 in the team. The no.2 gets paid very well to shut the **** up and accept being the whipping boy.

Yeah this is pretty trivial compared to 2002 when they made Rubens surrender the lead of the Austrian grand prix and then left his car on jacks at the start of the French to ensure Schumacher wrapped the title up with six races to spare. This is how Ferrari operate, it hasn't surprised me in the slightest.
