Last five matches I would have said Arsenal (L) Villa (D) Stoke (D) Reading (W) United (L) so five points whereas we have 11. That's title winning form!
Calm down as Norwich fans we all know what will happen..... now is there a side in real poor form coming up?
I'm getting worried - second on MotD and praise from ALL of the pundits saying how well we played!! Time to get the bus out???? PS - Lots of fans singing -"There's only one Chris Hughton"!!!! It's taken a while and OK, we won't be one of the PL high scoring teams this season, but we really needed to address the 'goals against', so I am VERY happy to see that apart from the horror shows against Fulham, Liverpool and Chelsea, we have only conceded 4 and had 3 consecutive 'clean sheets' in the Prem!!!
Everton up next, without fellaini too and they just lost to reading! Could we possibly extend our unbeaten streak?
Re: Little faith, I was in full Arsenal mode, expected a sound beating and avoided the radio (not got ESPN anyway) and tamely put the result on at 7.30. Unbelievale!! Fantastic effort to all at CR.
We're now 4th in the form table. I too heard Chrissy Hughton's name being sung, but, being sat in one of the quietest parts of the ground, didn't join in; outloud, anyway! The stand was still bouncing though!
I couldn't care how many goals we score, so long as we carry on defending like we are currently. In this form, I doubt many teams wish to meet us! Very proud.
Ths OK, it's not good for my 'dicky ticker' when we're defending a 1 goal lead, but I'll settle for winning 1-0 any day over a boring 0-0 as at Rading last week.
My real worry was a season of West Ham and QPR style 0-0 and 1-1's at home combined with very few results away.Hughton deserves great praise for the way he has sorted out the dodgy defence.Bassong,Garrido Whittaker all look very solid.I make it one goal conceded in 450minutes of play.Taking into account that 180 of those were against Arsenal and United thats some statistic.
