    Bearing in mind January prices are inflated £20 million probably wouldn't be enough. More likely to go for three or four loans with option to buy at end of season. I wonder if Harry would try to persuade Ledley King to come out of retirement? Even with two dodgy knees he'd be a cut above the clowns we've got at present...

    Why would anyone sign for us in January if not just for the money - which is what we're cursed with already.

    Not much and that will be a condition of his employment. He can choose to accept on that basis or not. We can't throw money at problems, haven't we learnt our lesson?
