They were good for the first 20 mins, but that wasn't good enough last time either <ok>

Emirates not been a happy hunting ground for Spurs. Minus those 2 freak games where Arsenal gifted them the points.

Will be interesting to see the return NLD at WHL. I can't see Spurs beating Arsenal or Chelsea this season with AVB in charge but you never know. I fancied Arsenal from the start, it was definitely their day today despite the bright start from Spurs

You're beginning to sound like an old woman with your cries of wumming everytime you read something that you don't like.

What I'm saying is that Spurs, whilst good in patches aren't able to sustain it for ninety minutes. That's why they are coming unstuck in so many games this season. You've looked good in a few games, but then surrendered a lead which has cost you dearly. The late goals are indicative of this problem and it's an example of your team not being able to shut out games when they need to. Against City you looked good for 65 mins and then something in your psychology just seemed to hand the opposition the incentive. When City equalised you just knew Spurs were going to capitulate again.

Against us yesterday, you looked good for the first twenty minutes, Adebayor's stupidity cost your team it's rhythm and some of it's attacking flair, but that doesn't account for you shipping five goals. We weren't at our best and still gave you plenty of space in MF - if we'd been on top of our game, it could have been seven or eight.

Cut the crap, Peskie. I can recognise a Wum when I see one. Yes, we capitulated. I imagine team moral got hit pretty hard after going down to 10 after 15 mins or so, away to your biggest rival. Plus, the way we were forced to set up for the second half inevitably left gaps.

We played poorly against City and deserved to lose. As to the outcome of yesterday's game had we maintained a full side for the entire game, who knows? Certainly not you, although you may like to pretend you do

Well stop acting like an old woman then and we're fine <ok> I actually thought you were pretty good against City for a large part of the game, but you did play a high line again and nearly got caught out a few times with Aguero on the end.

As for yesterday, who knows ? You were certainly looking dangerous until Adebayor got sent off. But then you looked dangerous for the first twenty minutes of the last NLD and the score ended up being the same. Personally, even with eleven, I still think we had enough to beat you yesterday, maybe not by as big a scoreline, but we still looked really purposeful going forward.

Again, pure conjecture. As I say, you might like to convince yourself you know what would have happened, but you don't - nobody does. hindsight is always 20/20.
The only deal I'll give you is, you stop Wumming and I'll stop pointing it out!..

There is not much worse than a gloating winner even more so when the game was adversely affected by a sending off.

It tells us more about PISKIE than it does about the game.

Poor performance from a moderator who should know better.

Exactly. Not to mention hypocritical. I don't venture onto the Goon board very often. However, from what I read from other posters, Peskie is Very quick to ban anything he perceives as Wumming on their board. But, feels seemingly quite free to come here and do exactly that.

When does he have time to spend moderating their board when he's always over here?

It doesn't need a lot of time if you just ban people. <laugh> He would be a lot busier if he had not banned HIAG for instance.

And he could talk to him on the Arsenal board instead of coming onto the Spurs board to talk with him.

Which is bizarre when you think about it.

You are guilty of the same thing by insisting you would not have lost if the fool had not been sent off.

    tool.

<laugh> You keep telling yourself that.

In fact I don't think I've had to moderate any posts on the Arsenal board for months <ok> But you carry on believing your own story if it makes you feel better.

You'll struggle to find a Spurs fans that thought we were playing well when we went 2-0 up against you last season, the scoreline was very fortunate for us at that point. We also looked the better team for periods of the game with 10 men too so it's unfair to pretend we only had 20 minutes of good play. You've been 3-1 and 4-2 up against us before and ****ed it up but the fact you have is meaningless to this game much like your assertion that you had enough to turn the game around without the boost of us losing a player because of a previous game.

Why rise to it Peskie? You know you've won the debate when they revert to attacking the poster, rather than the post itself.

As for slating you as a moderator, it goes hand in hand with them always slating refs. They lose and instinctively lash out at the nearest official. It's never their fault :p

Try READING what I wrote, you moron! Nowhere have I insisted that we would not have lost, or claimed to know what the result would have been. i merely challenged Peskie's assertion that we would have lost with 11 men anyway.
