Whilst a steward escorted him down South Africa road, he told a fan that QPR keep losing because "the fans don't support the club".

This guy was there and has tweeted about it: https://twitter.com/JamieQPR

I heard about this on a loftforwords thread: http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/queensparkrangers/fb_mb.php?m=v&t=67863#18

It sounds very plausible, and the "JamieQPR" guy seems genuine. Terrible if true.
Coupled with Cisse's tweets in the other thread, it paints an unpleasant picture of the relationship between the fans & players at the moment.

edit: Same rumour on WATRB http://www.wearetherangersboys.com/forum/showthread.php?151095-SWP

Well, that certainly solves a mystery - and I was blaming the performance on the pitch when it was my fault all the time

Got to say, I'm often disappointed by the lack of atmosphere. I'm a big believer in getting behind the team vocally. Do it from the start, and keep doing it. It's not just today, Vs Chelsea at home was nothing like last season. A raucous, involved crowd is a massive boost for our boys and heaps pressure on the other team. In fact, I'll go as far as to say that if, having pulled it back to 1-2 today, our 3 sides of the ground had spent the last 35 mins or so stood up, shouting, singing, waving arms forward etc, we'd have won. They'd have responded, and some magic would have occurred.

All this coming from a bloke whos only sang about because its a catchy tune, its never been deserved.

Our fans have been too nice, we havent got on the players back once. The fans would have set their cars on fire in Italy, Russia or SA. In Russia the fans attacked their own team with paintball guns at a training session!

The Saints fans were outstanding from the off today. Apart from a few hundred in the top of the Loft, q block and top of R block, the Rs fans were as disconnected as the team.

Agree. It's like protecting your investment.

I’m not surprised the fans are disconnected as there is very little for them to get excited about.
I could barely be bothered to cheer the goal Hoilett scored as i was so despondent by then
From virtually every set piece yesterday we looked like conceding, a total shambles!

I know what you mean Jon, but my point is that this is our club, our team, we throw our money at it and we want it to do well. If we were noisy from the off, asserting ourselves, even if its negative noise, anger, passion, vented frustration, I don't think they'd play like that. They wouldn't feel they'd get away with it.

They're probably thinking the same - sitting next to dad, so we better keep our mouths shut! I fully understand mate. I was in SA road yesterday, b block. Deathly quiet like it usually is. I feel a bit like the club should employ crowd fluffers - paid to get everyone going. I could be that man.
