Didn't have a good word to say about anything really did he? I hope Adkins doesn't let Gazza watch that with the sound on, he'd pack football in if he listened to that guy. They did have a point with us taking a couple of passes too many on the edge of the box. I think the players are so worried about being wasteful of a chance they are trying to open up a chance for too long. That'll get better with the confidence winning and scoring brings though.
That commentary was on the stream I was watching too. I thought he was mostly right with what he was saying, or along the right lines, but the way he put it across was annoying as ****. Constantly just moaning and shouting, yes we know that Gazza made a few poor choices, QPR defended our short corners dreadfully and didn't get enough men in the box, but you're supposed to be analysing that not bloody screaming about it like an angry father at a under-10s football match.
It's that git Gary Birtles. He's always been anti Saints in my view. Mind you I'm no fan of his either! He scored too many goals against us
Indeed, I don't understand why he thinks people will want to hear that, you're supposed to be an experienced ex-player providing insight and analysis, not sound like an angry old drunk watching his team taking a beating down the pub.
