Ok couldn't resist watching, even if it was to laugh at the skunks.

Tash said in another thread it was a minority booing.
    Hahahahaha
That was one ****ing loud minority, it was coming out of all areas of my surround sound. :p
At least a few of them stayed to watch the end of the game, was it just the ones who stopped to boo some more?:bandit:

On a side note we are used to the ****ers at the BBC ignoring us, the twats didn't even give us any minutes tonight. <stilllaughingattheskunkssmiley>

Until we start winning, watching the mags lose is a bit of a hollow pleasure for me. Hopefully, it won't be too long before our lot find a bit of form.

I have been away fishing today (with no news or contact with the outside world) so just got in and put football first on and caught the last few mins of their game. I saw the empty seats and I thought there must of been a Metro strike or something - ffs it was like an islamic lecture in a synagogue

There's been a few fishing trips here as well mate. :p

What were you after fresh or salty?
I was thinking of seeing my mates see if they fancy a wrecking trip before the bad weather really sets in.

I can't deny it's a pleasure, but we need the points tomorrow big time. Even Southampton and Reading looked better than us tonight! <yikes>

On the pier at Roker but it got dark (should of thought of that!) - I did have a head torch but the batteries were going and ended up hooking my hands about five times - my right hand is up like a ballon at the mo - but that may prove exciting if I decide to spanner one off!!

There was obviously a majority booing and the cockney mafia banners and misspelled slogans will be getting dusted off as we speak. Lol

I used to take a big old Tilly lamp on the pier.
Light and a little bit warmth luxury.
    Was anyone catching?
I gave up on the pier even before I did my back in.
    Small bags of small fish.
Or craning in strings of Mackarel which I don't even like to eat.

Aye there was nowt doing when I came away I had fished from low tide at about 11.00am - all I caught was a codling but it was about 9 inches long - I didn't see much else being pulled in either - I caught 12 the other week but not one of the them big enough to take home - luckily they all swam away for another day - last week a lad pulled a couple of 2ish pound cod and a 5ish pound pollack but generally there does not seem a lot going on - still its the fun of taking part and a canny day out

I may not subscribe to global warming.
But I do believe we and the rest of Europe have over fished the North Sea and northward.
I think it is time to ban all trawling for a few years and at least give the fish a chance to recover.
I still remember pulling in double figure cod off the pier for fun as a kid.

I got a big bastard cod once on Roker pier.

Unfortunately, I had no money to pay it.
