Any rumours about Pardew at your place. Down here he was rumoured to be a bit too keen on the players wives?

 

He'll be too busy chasing after Cabaye the handsome devil to be worrying about the players wives fella.

 

It'll go one of two ways, we'll either see a determined reaction or you've caught us at a good time. We'll see but I fancy a 3-1 win for us because we need it. I have faith in our manager and players. I'm glad to report no reported rumours of Pardews dicking the wives

 

He did plenty of it in the past, the players are wise to him now and keep their wives at a safe distance.

 

Reckon we'll draw, full strength newcastle would beat us regardless of form but minus cabaye and colocini (sp) I think they'll dominate but ultimately draw 1-1. Ben Arfa will be Shaw's toughest opponent yet.

We will have got such a boost from yesterday I really think we will win on Sunday. Remember last week was disrupted by International call up's. A full week training with a full squad and hopefully 3 points!

 

Well we're yet to win in the league after playing in Europe this season so you're certainly in with a chance mate!

 

I've seen this so many times, honestly mate don't get ahead of yourself, you have only beaten the worst team in the league. Newcastle are a strong side with a lot of quality.

Like I said before though, it's quite rare for a newly promoted team to win two in a row and I just don't see it with yourselves.

 

I don't think we'll win, but I don't think your logic of "it's rare for newly promoted teams to win 2 in a row" works out either. Winning a match only has positive correlations and could never have a negative influence on the next game (although I think it has bugger all influence of any kind on the next game anyways).

 

I'd not really factored in the Europe angle but we get 8 days rest which could actually be quite telling!

 

Its not so much the rest as we tend to make wholesale changes. Its preparation time which is the killer.

 

Good point. As with the internationals last week it's very disruptive. Still if you want to be successful I suppose it comes with the territory.
