Ross Brawn - Nico ran the standard exhaust this afternoon as part of our programme to ensure that we go into the winter fully understanding our exhaust system. Consequently he found it difficult to get the tyres working and that led to the result we got. Whilst it's disappointing to qualify in 17th, and we know that Nico could have done far better in a different car, we will get the full picture of the changes made in the race tomorrow and then have all of the data that we wanted to collect.

Seems like Webber gets a reprimand.

Why would Webber have to weigh in during Q1?

the lights to show whether they need to stop at the weighbridge are allgedly random.

Its usually frowned upon a lot to miss a weighbridge so Webber can count himself lucky he wasn't thrown out of Q1

I remember someone missed a weighbridge a while back.

I'm fairly certain they got a damn sight more than a reprimand. I wish I could remember who it was.

Stewards say Webber was wheeled back to be weighed.......now why didn't they say that before? Was the same **** with Vergne and he also got a reprimand.

But the session was still ongoing, why not wait until Q1 had ended?

Why wasn't Schumacher penalised? He was on an outlap and clearly blocked Alonso. It would be different if this happened in practice, but you can't get away with it in qualifying. Unbelievable.

Who is the driver steward this weekend?
