Plenty went today so only them who did or Tigers Player watchers today. Voting closes Wednesday afternoon.
To be honest I'd prefer not, but since there's nothing I can do to stop it if you want you can vote, but as I said in the OP, I'd prefer those who went or at least watch on TP to vote.
Aluko Quinn Chester Hard to pick a third, Quinn and Aluko stood out but the rest were about equal all having a decent game. Ish. Rosey made some good movements but lacked any input in the final third. Simpson also had a good game, linked up with Aluko well, worked hard. Chose Chester because he was pretty solid at the back, definitely the best defender, and he got the winner.
Dont count this as im going by Burnseys commentary - Aluko , Bruce , Quinn - but im looking forward to watching it on Tigers player
For me the back 3 deserve the George cross for the way they stood up to the aerial battering they got from Brum today. Faye in particular had every part of Zigic body rammed into his face from first to last minute. Simpson was excellent once more up front holding the ball up really well against their robust challenges. Elmo was also superb. What an engine that guy has got. Considering he played 90 mins for Egypt on Wednesday, just how he managed another 90 constantly belting it up and down the right wing. Aluko impressed me today with two very well taken goals and in truth he should have had a first half hat-trick. Disappointments were Oilyvagina who looked several degrees slower than anyone else in the side. Quinn also kept helping out at the back and passing the ball inside to Faye who was marked and nearly costing us possession in our own third. Good overall counter attacking performance by City but we handed them two REALLY soft goals and made things much harder for ourselves than they really should have been. MOTM: 1. Aluko 2. Elmohamady 3. Faye ps. Meyler needs game-time; he looks useful but equally looks seriously rusty!
Not easy this one, the actual MotM is easy, it was Aluko by some distance, but picking three gets much harder. Simpson's ball to Aluko for the second was outstanding and he worked hard all game, Quinn and Koren were great in the first half, but when we were on the back foot in the second half they got less of a look in. I'm probably going to mess up the voting, but I'm going.. Aluko Quinn Chester/Bruce/Faye (can a back three share a vote?) A special mention for Oli, who I thought was absolutely shocking, Meyler did little when he came on either, on that showing I'd stick with Evans.
1) Aluko (best player in the league for me) 2) Chester (great header & solid) 3) Difficult to pick between Quinn and Simmo but if you need to pick one I think I'd go Simmo. Also thought Amos looked better in net. Possibly could've done more about King's goal but he seemed more dominant and came for balls at the right times.
Not gonna do a motm as i didnt hear the commentary, looking at cars for the mrs. Just seen the goals on the round up and Chezzy was at fault for the second goal. Was 3 yards behind Faye and played King on. Koren didnt pick up his man for the first either.
It's difficult i think for a holding midfield to make an impact when coming on for 20 minutes or whatever but i thought he did well broke up play and i can't remember him giving away possession
