Not in my book there isn't. We are not responsible for decisions made on other boards HIAG just the Spurs one. We do not wish to go down the route that Arsenal mods have followed as I am sure you would be the first to agree.
Mate, you said 'behave' in response to me saying that Adebayor was right to see red and that sandro was lucky not to see red also. I didn't miss anything, other than your extremely partisan view of events, which I thought was a tad bitter. You responded by calling me a ****. I'm not particularly bothered by that, but don't try and make out that this is wumming. I can understand that you're upset with the result, I would be too. I'm not dragging anything out, but I think pretty much everybody agrees that the ref got the sending off right.
Sad, sad day. I was so pleased with the team that AVB picked, I prefer Dawson to Gallas, but I could see a case for Gallas playing, other than that I think he made the right calls. Especially delighted over Lloris of course. We had Arsenal rattled before the sending off, we might still have lost with 11 men, but it would have been a closer better game I'm sure. I said I'd judge us after 12 lge games, and I have to say that my early season prediction of 8th is looking about right, but perhaps a little too optimistic. To be honest I'd take a 10th place finish now and hope we can do something in the two Cups left to us. We're going to struggle against Lazio and probably lose, then it's a game against West Ham, which I'm not looking forward to. Somehow we have to regroup and win that one without Ade. I'm not at all confident, still maybe we'll get some luck which has deserted us recently.
AVB: We played to win we played with passion and I am proud of my players. This is the Spurs way, now we just have to do it and win as well.
I don't think you boys have anything to be ashamed about (apart from supporting spurs in the first place of course) But your players did you proud today and even at 4-2 up we weren't comfortable. In the end the better team won, but that shouldn't detract from your commitment and desire
The side with the best advantage won and yes on the day the better team won but there are many more days to come in this season and we have yet to field our strongest team.
Ok random trivia quiz time: What have the last two NLD and the classic Sam Peckinpah film Convoy got in common ?
"We have ourselves a convoy, Brown Bear." "Copy that, Rubber Duck." And, at Spurs, we have a cockerel on our club's badge. Do I win a fiver?
I think you need to read it back then. Firstly, I told you not to respond if you're just going to be a **** which you were being, as I explained. If I thought you were a **** I'd have more sympathy for your behaviour as it couldn't be helped but as it is you know what you were doing. Perhaps I should have just deleted your posts trying to gloat and wum on our board straight after winning a game but in the past that hasn't stopped you complaining either.
Can someone explain to me why Spurs treat the Wigan's and the Arsenal's like the Salvation Army treat the poor and underpriviliged? I bet Daniel will be choking on his Champagne yet AGAIN! Let's go for the remaining cups and try to stay out of the bottom three positions,eh?
Positives and negatives for Spurs. Positives are that although without many key players, for half an hour they looked like a decent team. They were the better side to begin with and caused Arsenal lots of problems. That gives me confidence that when Key players come back they will be much better. Negatives are that it just seems like same old Spurs. I'm sorry but there is no excuse for capitulating like that. The body language of the players was poor once Spurs went down to 10, almost as if they gave up. It's something that just seems deeply ingrained in the club and I'm not sure if any manager will ever change it. As a neutral it didn't spoil my enjoyment of it though. I thought it was a cracking game and a great atmosphere
