Alonso better nail that first lap as they looked to be struggling badly when the tyres were getting more and more used. Race pace looked HORRIBLE for Alonso and Massa that time...

Webber ffs get up there in qualifying and help Seb out for once now Ferrari are looking vulnerable.

I don't think Seb needs help to be honest 2 tenths on Hamilton so far, and that's when he looks like he is not giving much inside the cockpit.

Anyone still want to claim that Perez isn't struggling with the pressure of moving to Mclaren next year?

Temperatures will be higher for qualifying. I think 3rd or 4th is realistic for Alonso.

I think all Ferrari can really hope for this weekend is for RBR to drop the ball somewhere. Not looking good for them atm.

I take it Jenson didn't improve his time when switching to the softer tyre?

Vettel will easily take pole and Hamilton should be second. Not sure about what happens after that, but it'll be Alonso, Button, Maldonado and possibly Webber fighting for 3rd.

As usual Red Bull are slowest in the speed trap, Vettel is 6kph slower than McLaren, 8kph slower than Alonso and 10kph slower than Massa. If Hamilton qualifies second and stays with Vettel through the first sector on the first lap...

Whitmarsh has handled things badly in my opinion, every time he's mentioned Perez since signing him he's been quite negative saying he has doubts, that it's risky and that Perez doesn't understand the pressure of driving for McLaren. I don't think it's going to go well to be honest, he hasn't even got there yet and his team principle is already trying to distance himself from the decision to sign him. And yeah, he's been really poor since it was announced, and to make it worse his performances are coming under more scrutiny now everyone knows he's driving for McLaren, I can see him having a bit of a crisis of confidence like Grosjean this year and Hamilton last. Could all change once he gets a pre season under his belt for his new team though.

Pretty sure Vettel has this one in the bag though... But I am generally wrong. :p
