come on listen to sir mike,,,he is telling you he is useless as a prem striker and only uses him as a replacement for a midfielder...<laugh> He was rubbish last season and missed a shed full of sitters,,if you think thats good then im glad you are not the manager as we would be below qpr..<laugh>...was good as a championship striker which is his obvious level in that position, He could however pass as a premiership midfielder with his work rate.....as a prem striker then he is bottom of the pile in the premiership.....as he proves all on his own....<ok>

Newcastle have had more of the play but we've had all the best chances. I think we've
    looked quite comfortable really.
    We will win this.

Well I thought we should be 1 up. Don't think we've had a mauling, very even game so far. Need to keep a head though with Leon and Itay having yellow cards.

we've been growing into this game, Newcastle are very big and physical and they've been bullying us off the ball in midfield but our attacking play is looking dangerous. We've got a goal or two in us tonight imo.
Monk is looking pretty decent too so fair play to El Capitan!

Getting fed up of Germany commentary, then again it's better than listening to Barry Horne.

We look so dangerous on the counter attack, and Newcastle do look very shaky at the back. We played really well until about 20mins, and then they seemed to go up a gear. I worry about Schecter in the second half, not because he's dirty, but because he does seem a little clumsy in the tackle. Might have to look at taking Britton off if we are under a lot of pressure as well, we can't afford a mistimed tackled from Leon now. I think we've had the best chances though, think we could sneak all 3 points here.

Well I'm at the bloody game and all they've got so far is Hoofball and trying to play on our mistakes. Ben Arfa looks their most dangerous player but all the football is coming from us and we should have had at least one by now.

Was talking to the toon fans before the game and they said they're all hoof now, I thought they were having me on.
