I know, and i apologise wholeheartedly. The guy is a beast, we've needed a big CF for a while, and he seems the right man for the job.
Watching the Giroud goal again it is a really good goal! He holds off his marker, makes himself big which allows him to get his foot back and behind the ball which was played in just behind him, gets brilliant contact, puts it through a defenders legs and under the keeper into the bottom corner.... It would have been far easier to miss than score that chance! Good goal and he is showing he has a lot to his game other than heading the ball (and btw he is amazing in the air.. scored one of the best goals from a header ive ever seen the other week from theos corner!). Having watched his highlights etc before he came to us i was confident he was a good player and would score different types of goals and over his last few games he has really been good. I'm glad he is winning other fans round Thats 7 goals in total for him this season, 5 in his last 5 appearances and he has had some assists as well, plus all the other benefits of having him on the pitch - his link up and hold up play, his aeriel ability (both attacking and defensively where he has been very valuable on set pieces).
Oh and btw the Walcott goal was a bit of a deja vu moment... it was like it was last season and Walcott was RVP and oxocube was Walcott... the way Walcott sat on the edge of the area and called for it is exactly how RVP used to demand the ball from Walcott in those same situations lol.. made me giggle! (and no im not saying walcott has replaced rvp lol)
Some of the Spuds are trying to blame the ref for their defeat http://www.not606.com/showthread.ph...spur-v-Arsenal-Match-History-1887-2012/page18
Oh and i told you all we would beat spurs and then continue up the table - a win against vill and a win against everton to follow, mark my words
Giroud's high work rate was always going to see him get goals this season. So like Piskie said... TOLD U SO! Cazorla MOTM. I think Spurs were trying to mark Arteta and Wilshere more than Cazorla, which was pretty stupid. AVB was watching our match with United too closely I think. Walcott comes up with the goods again. He provided the run and cross for Mertesacker to equalise. Capped it off with a well taken goal. Lets not forget he could have scored a couple more easily. He is the most dangerous player on the pitch for us. We have to keep him. Oh and, 5-2 again! Hahaha, those stupid Spuds bring it on themselves. They set themselves up for ridicule. Three league defeats in a row for them? Looks like back to mid-table where they belong!
Everton are beating Reading. Naismith after some arsenal-esque defending from Reading. West Brom beating Chelsea too. So results aren't going our way.
They do that every single game they lose. Not 'some', but EVERY game they lose. 'Y' word Vicious has gone all emo too - happy days
