Well that's because we were playing well prior to the last 5-2.

We went into this game playing crap - a defeat was expected.

    Ade ruined our game YV.

You know he did. That result is not down to the ref. I'd call that a red all day long despite the technicalities of the foul that we're discussed earlier.

    Cheers Ade <ok>

Come on. If Adebayor hadn't just seen red, Sandro would have been booked in the first half. The only reason Webb didn't was because he wanted to give Spurs the benefit of the doubt. On his last warning he made the gesture to him 'that's three times'. He was lucky he didn't book him them.

And spurs were lucky not to end the game with 9 men.

I am struggling to see how Webb ruined the game. Ade's was a clear sending off in this day and age, and sandro was lucky not to go either. He was given 3 chances before he was booked. We were lucky Webb was so lenient.

Lets not lower ourselves to blaming the ref. it makes us look pathetic, when there been other occasions such as the foy v stoke game which was just horrendous. This was nothing in comparison.

    With this starting 11:

    Lloris
    BAE
    Kaboul
    Vertonghen
    Walker
    Bale
    Dembele
    Sandro
    Adebayor
    Defoe

Then maybe swap Adebayor or Defoe for Parker if we needed to play 5 in midfield.
I really think if that team stayed fit we would be very near the top 3

Ah so 3 times is a booking? Where was Vermaelen's booking then? He should've picked one up for cynical play fouling Lennon when he'd just roasted him for a start.

Arteta and Cazorla were constantly kicking the ball away too but not so much as a word to them. Dreadful ref.

Well despite the loss that game has given me a lot more confidence in AVB. Apart from Huddlestone being on perhaps too long I could not fault his decisions. Sure we lost but we lost playing with a huge spirit in the Spurs way.

I have to say that Bale has looked tired in the last couple of games but then a lot has been expected of him. AVB just needs a break to get his full squad back. The return of Dembele, Kaboul, Parker and now Ade as well is what we need.

It's the accumulation of poor decisions he makes against us nearly every game we have him.

    When this isn't a red card(or even a foul) Adebayor's isn't even a foul. **** ref and another **** game for him.

Completely agree Spurf. Lets keep the faith. Yes we are in bad form results wise but if we can get players back we can turn this round. We have already played United, City and Arsenal away as well. If we go 4-4-2 at home and have a bit more belief I'm sure thee results will come. West Ham at home, next league game. Absolute must win.

Huddlestone wouldn't have got in the Stoke side on this form, yet he starts for us. Please god, we get Mouthinho in the next window, although why he would want to join us looking at this shower of ****e this afternoon, god only knows. As for Adebayor, there has to be a reason why top sides let a proven goalscorer go.. he causes more problems than he solves.
