I'm becoming more convinced with each match that Lustig looks like a real player, very impressed with him.

Overall that was the result I expected before the game, I was very confident we would win and although we did not play as well as I would have liked i'm delighted to go top again.

Good result. Not a great performance.

Missing Hooper on a day like that. Sammy was mince, Commons crap.

    Victor Motm. As usual <laugh>

Good to see a decent crowd - biggest at Pittodrie for almost 4 years. Armageddon indeed.

Workmanlike. Satisfactory ahead of next week

I think Watt is a smart player. Today was not made for him and will be a big learning experience.

Dav Advocate. Anthony Watt is a player who works on the shoulder of the last defender. In such tight environs I do not think the tempo, position and style of play would suit the young man on this occasion.
An example of what he would do differently
and what he did in the Barcelona game, he would exploit the space behind the advanced defence. Today in the city of granite was a very different and
tough game. I do not think that you lambasting his
performance will in any way serve to advance his career and enhance his ability to operate in such a game. If you are doubting the ability of Neil Francis Lennon to ensure that this Player can develop in
full training sessions and match situations then maybe
you would be better off supporting that team that used to be called Rangers from the other side of the city.

Pretty lacklustre performance from both teams today, allthough celtic well deserved the victory.

From what I have seen of Aberdeen you have been playing more like the first 20 minutes than the last 70.

I had the Celtic v Arsenal Champions League match recording while I was on a Ryanair flight home - the pilot came on the speaker phone as we landed "oh by the way everyone, Arsenal beat Celtic 3-1". The one and only time I've ever heard a pilot tell anyone a football score and I was recording the ****ing thing <grr>

I Thought Aberdeen did everything they could to stop Celtic playing football. It has to be said they were successful for about
seventy minutes. During that time Celtic created three or four gilt edge chances from set pieces but couldn't take any of them.
It was a bit disappointing with Aberdeen having their largest crowd in thee/four years that they should endeavour to kill the game
in midfield. I thought Commons wasn't as effective as when he closer to strikers and with Lassad coming on Celtic looked different
immediately. Two quick goals and Celtic playing football as Aberdeen were forced to come out and attack some. With Sammy
coming back to fitness and with a couple others who didn't make it today we should look forward to Tuesday night.
