Was that the Udinese boys learning English in the classroom, or the Watford boys learning Italian? They all seem to speak good Italian, even the Swedes and Argentinians...
i have no idea what he's saying but it looks good. Love that they made so much of London...coz we're a London team ya know lol. And that Crocodile Rock doesn't sound like SEJ..which is odd! But great to see, and it sounds like all the Udinese players are happy ..interesting he didn't seem to worry about the Granada players... good stuff
I think it's important that we retain our identity as a club outside of London/a family club in the home counties, but the London effect is huge. The advantages we have over similar-sized towns like Scunthorpe, Grimsby or Lincoln are a combination of transport and the fact that a large percentage of the population live and work in or around London. If someone moves out of Watford for work, education or family reasons, there's a much better chance that they can travel back here than if they move out of Udine (200 miles from Milan as the crow flies, 300 from Rome). Even for those who emigrate, I presume that a long weekend in or near Watford is a bit more feasible than Grimsby.
