As I've said my mate says rubbish and MH is here to stay but as he also said there are rumours flying everywhere. The majority however are behind MH and morale is generally good.
It's complicated. You have to remember TF isn't sole chair, he has others who have a stake and would equally have a voice in any decision. TF can bury his head in the sand all he wants but when others with a holding come asking for questions there's only so long he can fob it off. Your mate could just be hearing the public face of TF while he is looking for another man, he was doing the same thing with Warnock, publicly backing him while already having Hughes lined up. Remember the others can sack Hughes without TFs consent as their owning % is over 50%.
Lets say its equal, it only takes one of them to agree with Bhatia and that is 33% plus 22% which over course is the majority. To get out of this unharmed. TF just has to say he was outvoted which is the truth.

I'm very, very afraid that this wont happen until next week. Hughes is going to get one last chance from Tony to save his skin and that will be to get something out of the Man U game. Hughes now knows he's in last chance saloon so will be interesting to see what team he puts out. All you Hughes believers will get one last crack at it.
