I said a few pages back that Spurs play nice football and they're good to watch and i stand by it, but you're not anywhere near as good as is made out on this thread by you lads. As for us getting stick on here for not qualifying for the CL through a top 4 finish, we aint good enough and even though we say it you call us deluded. Talking about 50m plus Aguero and buying Falcao LOL Latest instalment of Mouser delusion from down the pub, and my Mouser friend is now proclaiming Suarez to be `the best striker in the world`.... (funny that, I remember him saying the same about Torres up until he left Liverpool), and reckons if he leaves Mouseland it will be for at least 50m! Now, Suarez is a good player but I can think of several better strikers around than him..... RVP, Aguero, Falcao, Tevez etc etc and I cant see anybody paying that much, 25m - 30m is probably a fair price imo. We all know the Mousers have very few players to get excited about so it is understandable they try to lord and idolise Suarez for all their worth, but this particular episode of delusion did make me chuckle.
In the Summer plenty of clubs would be willing to pay £40m. Real, City, Chavs, PSG etc. This is the problem for us, that many clubs, especially if Suarez keeps these performances up, will easily pay that, and thats going to make us vulnerable to losing him as if they do come in with a £40m offer FSG will want to bite their hand of despite Suarez being happy to stay.
And the further problem you will have is that clubs will know you've been given a wind-fall for Suarez, so they will be looking to charge you an arm-and-a-leg for what ever player you go for to replace Suarez. Do you want to buy Defoe off us for £40 million?
