I also think that Sheff Wed are trying to offload Gary Madine. Swindon (of all clubs) was mentioned. He must be a live wire to manage I reckon. Perhaps Connor Wickham is an intended replacement
I'd be surprised of Madine is off, I think he's played in every game for the Wendies this season. With Madine and Bothroyd already there, you wouldn't think they need another big striker type.
Maybe worried about losing Bothroyd if Hughes is sacked at QPR and the new man wants to give him a shot, I'd have to check whether he was named in QPR's 25 man squad or not to say whether it would happen before Xmas or not.
