In the early 70's my dad employed Tony Christie's best mate as the manager of a Royce store in Sheffield. He was visiting the shop one day and the manager said I'm meeting Tony for lunch if you want to come along, as he was a big star at the time, my dad was quite excited. He said he was the boring bloke he'd ever met.
