From what I gather they were supposed to be there, but now won't be. And you're right distant... I guess this is an attempt to get F1 to the masses here, but if NBC show it on delay it could find itself competing with NASCAR and Indy. Looks like New Jersey has been pushed to 2014 where it will most likely be dropped for another Tilke-drome in Bangkok.
on a side note about BE, I see, unsurprisingly, that nothing has done about his blatant $40m bribe to get away with tax avoidance, despite a judge declaring him totally guilty of it, he even admitted giving him payments to 'keep him calm' (shut his mouth) about £2b in tax payments due to the Inland Revenue.
Yes Miggins. That's a good example of what I was alluding to in my previous post in this thread (number 36).
I would add that if he were under a current UK tax investigation, it would not be public knowledge unless the information was being leaked.
So thats what you were alluding to, I didn't know about that. Oh well, its only making me dislike him more than I already do.
Decent article discussing some of the problems of getting good coverage and how Bernie doesn't seem to have a good grip at all on how to improve interest in the states. http://m.theglobeandmail.com/globe-...to-woo-us-fans/article4621709/?service=mobile
Leigh Diffey, David Hobbs and Steve Matchett to make up NBC F1 broadcast team http://www.autoweek.com/article/20121115/F1/121119885
Yeah... heard about that today. That's great news. I'm genuinely shocked that they have done the right thing. Hoping they get Will Buxton too!
Defiinitely good news, I'm pretty happy to hear this. No Bob kind of sucks but I like Leigh Diffey too so thats not a huge deal. Agreed, now they need to get Will for trackside stuff and I'll be much more optimistic about the coverage!
