There is a certain clause for players under a certain age. Liverpool had negotiated a sell-on fee and it is 35%. I just hope he joins Manchester United for £15 million, it would be nice making them look pretty stupid.

No, no there isn't any such clause for out of contract players. But good luck with that!

You're wrong, there is, and its based on a sell-on fee. It will be nice taking Mal Glazers borrowed money.

"Liverpool are actually entitled to 35 per cent of his sale price, having included the clause in his contract when he left the club, so they may even be able to land the attacking midfielder at a discounted fee."

You have the inside track on this. It's well known amongst the football community that when an out of contract player wants to leave a club the Chairman calls up a knacker in Ireland and asks him to sort out a sell on deal. They call him the "35% Knacker". It's all become clear.

United who own the FA would just laugh at Liverpool and say no then ban one of your players for 8 games at random.

Then we would make you pay Liverpool tax of £5.75million because we do what we want <ok>

Read it and weep morons. If he joins Baconface for £15 million, that's as a I said a cool £5.25 million.

Dempsey cut his nose to spite his face and joined a small club. We'll be happy however to take your money, it will help us to sign players that you can't afford.

OK, so once we've bought a player you will use 35% of the transfer fee to buy a player we can't afford. Fantastic. Will you do my tax return?

A club that`s doing a lot better than yours. I think Dempsey made the right choice.

Anyone know the actual definition of banter? I do, but on occasion, you don't get much of it on here. Just name-calling really.

Went to see the Canadian comedian Stewart Francis last night for my birthday.. Was brilliant, constant barrage of one liners.
