Do remember though that when Arsenal are playing, if the game looks like its over at half time (with a win looking likely for either team) it is very likely that there will be some miraculous come back and a totally different result!
What I don't get is he persisted with 4-3-3 with Chelsea when it was clear we didn't have the players for it and now he is persisting with 4-2-3-1 when it's clear Spurs don't have the players for it. Ironically you'd be wonderful in a 4-3-3 formation with Bale and Lennon playing off Adebayor/Defoe.
AVB obsessed with finishing above Arsenal as Redknapp was Spuds measure their season against how close they finish to Arsenal http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20339328
I just don't get that mindset and the obsession with Arsenal that can be dated back to 1997 (arguably). City's ambitions were always far higher than to finish above United or beat them. The day Spurs managers/players stop talking about finishing above Arsenal will be the day they actually do.
I'm not sure that assertion would work for them unfortunately but it's true that they are obsessed with Arsenal and measure their relative success by us. This has been going on since before 1997. I guess that's what comes from being the smaller club living in the shadow of your classier neighbours
If you listen to the full interview he said we need To finish above Arsenal,to make the top 4,so in a way he was complimenting you, only, you can't see that
We can. Why not say "to finish Top4, we need to finish above 16 teams, and that's incredibly difficult in this hugely competitive league," rather than singling Arsenal out for "praise" / obsession?

If not, who should be there instead and which players should get the chop? Which way is Saturday's crunch match going to go?
