You're not allowed within 500 meters of Vettel so you couldn't.

And for gods sake...CHANGE THE BLOODY RECORD!!!

I have had all I can stand of this Vettel the poor victim crap. Every bloody thread seems to end up with it. He takes no more or no less than any other driver at the leading edge.

Just stop it... it is beyond boring now.

It's becoming a Jehovah's witness sort of thing. They come to you, preach their stuff and won't take no for an answer until you swear at them and slam a door in their face. It's a shame they've converted and taken over F1Fanatic as well. I swear one of the posters is Silver's alter ego ;)
I apologise for any religious offence taken.

    This!

If he's still searching for "Grip" come middle of 2013 in a car that is gonna be designed to get the best out of his driving style, then for some of us it will confirm what we already know, he's a second tier driver!
However, I do hope he's on it though, would like to see McLaren take it to RBR and Ferrari, hope Lotus can continue to develope an already winning package, and who knows, maybe Hamilton will be able to surprise a few with the odd decent performance..
Don't want 2013 to be the Vettel and Alonso show!

Perez might do him over if he can build his experience quicker, tyre management comes naturally to the lad anyway. So it is a matter of raw speed, and as I said.. building experience.

Button has to give it everything next year.

I think Button was helped a lot by the blown diffuser. We all know how picky he is on set-up and grip levels and the EBD just made life easier.

And another point is that Button is not getting any younger. He needs to sort **** out sooner rather than later. I.E When Perez takes over.

I expect Button to do more next season. He's never struck me as exceptional but his ability to dig out solid performances race after race used to more and make up for this. Hopefully he'll be back on form next season <ok>
I also look forward to never hearing him mention the word balance again ;)

I think Canada 2011 kind of rounded my opinions on him, I always thought of him as too relaxed and what not. But he has the raw materials (maybe lacking a little raw pace).
The thing is, he needs things very specific to go his way, before the bulky points come his way.

If Button thinks Perez won't be a challenge, he's in for a shock. Perez is incredibly fast and even thought Button will probably have more points by the end of the season I bet the majority of people will be saying that Perez is the faster McLaren driver, just like they do with Hamilton (632 points) vs Button (637 points). Even when Button is happy with the car I think Perez will be a little bit quicker.

McLaren had the best car out the blocks and fluffed it, I cant imagine Red Bull and Ferrari will be slow out the blocks for next year especially with the regulations remaining stable! Maybe 2014 for McLaren but no chance next year. Perez wont have the consistency to outscore Jenson next year, but if Jenson inherits the DNFs like Lewis this year then you never know.

Really not getting your reasoning here. They are just as likely to perfrom well as Red Bull and Ferrari are. Just because they probably wont be slow out of the block doesn't mean McLaren will?
