It's even more annoying than that...

You have a certain amounts of points/day, but you can't give rep to the same people all the time. It's a strange system but it works, as it stops people getting loads of rep. Mick is the highest I've seen, lvl 10, but he has the power to change his stats

I have been out for my flirtation with the medical profession, had a long chat to my friend in the UK, had a good dinner and come back to this site.

What do I find? My activity level has risen.

Moral there is that the less you post, the greater activity goes with it.

Frenchie I think there is like a 2 or 3 day time delay on that ,which does make it confusing!

 

I have had a rush at work and I had to go to the supermarket and when I return you are all statistical and worried about reputations.

 

The distinguished road thingy is linked to rep and rep lvl I think, from what I can gather. Yorkie's link gave the gradient, Rep lvl is dependant on the amount of rep points you get, which gives you a new title, and the bar represents the progress so far...

not sure about that Toby, coz John Eustace's Teeth has only just started posting and he's on a distinguished road too...hmm, i think it must be about where you start posting, as i think Norway said. i might go and have a peek round the site to see what everyone else's green rectangles say lol

 

ok, i take that back, it's to do with rep points lol

 

Hornette the reason he's on a distinguished road is because you start on +10 rep points, which puts you on a distinguished road. As I mentioned earlier, I lost loads of rep which put me down to +4 I think, but back on a distinguished road again

So every time someone gives you positive reputation, it adds it to the count. Every time you reach one of these new levels of points, your title changes.

sad I know Hornette ,but this is more fun than watching Real v Barca , I will lap up the lower league games , but the prem and champions league holds no interest for me! plus after SA you can add the England internationals to that as well!
