I've just had a look at the thread you started on their board. **** me, I know we've had some down moments this year, but that lot need putting on suicide watch!
I think that this is the sort of game where we get plenty of clear opportunities and not take one, and then QPR either get 1 chance and score a counter-attack or a horrible defensive error.
It's pretty rare you get a set of supporters that are hoping to lose, but that seems to be exactly what is going on here, they really want rid of Hughes! With the mood their fans are in at the moment and how good our away fans have been, I reckon this is going to sound like a home match if the team make a bright start.
Our fans need to be as louder than ever. This game could make or break our season. QPR fans will get on their teams back if they don't start well. I can really see us winning this.
Would like to see Mayuka finally get a start; Puncheon hasn't really merited replacing, but given the flashes of dynamism that Mayuka has shown, and our recent lack of such, it's time to get an idea of what we have there.
We should win this game, we need to win this game...I would have said a win at the beginning of the season, but I've lost confidence now. A win would tell me that we may be turning a corner, a draw (if other results go for us) could be okay, but a loss will shatter any confidence that Adkins is trying to instill. Two or three early goals boys...please.
Another detailed report on the QPR team, for those that are interested. http://sfcplayerstats.wordpress.com/2012/11/14/queens-park-rangers-scout-report/
Firstly gotta say, well done saints fans, sold out again and taking over 3,000 as usual. Perhaps Adkins you could remind the players tonight as you sit in the five star hotel that the fans deserve a performance by professionals. For once can you do your jobs professionally, no stupid passes, no slips no headers back in front of our goal. Just be professional, keep it tight and friggin well win. COYS.
